Hi! You can try chain 2, rather than 3. But chain 1 may be tight for the double crochets to be placed in there. It’s all trial and error. Try it may work on a short sample. ❤
I’ve been noticing lately that a lot of tutorials on TH-cam starts with a single crochet row,but does not end with a single crochet row. Can you explain this to me?
Hi! I guess You can finish off with a single crochet row on this pattern to level it off if you are not doing a border. Some patterns require an initial single Crochet for the pattern to develop on. Also where the pattern is virtually straight at the top you can just do a single crochet all the way round once finished before border. It’s makes no difference to the look of it.
