I agree it does look like back loop only giving it that ridge. She also uses a unique way of turning which I’ve seen before but haven’t used before. I’ll try as I love hex stitch. Be blessed be safe
Hi it’s both loops! The half double crochet row that we do first always looks like the from behind. Also I will mention if it is back loops I’m working in specifically. 😊
I’m seeing more by Nora since subscribing and this is not the first time, I have seen very confusing instructions for the count on one of her videos. But that is such nonsense. One of the reasons I subscribe to her is because how well she clearly lays out instructions. I’m the kind of person who signed onto bag o day crochet first because Crystal is so good about encouraging in her videos. Right about the time I’m saying oh there’s no way I can do this one she would say oh, and if you can do this stitch and that stitch you got this. I’m not quite a beginner and not quite seasoned. For similar reasons, I subscribed to Nora. This is not confusing at all.
Increments of 4+2 on the chain. Then for first row four half doubles in fifth chain from the hook, skip three chains and four half doubles. So on, and so forth pretty clear.
