i've noticed a kind of discrepancy in the opinions reactors have of edwin, some people think he's mean and annoying and others think his general bitchiness is endearing which is definitely the camp i'm in. huge fan of characters who express themselves bluntly even if it means being mean, but edwin definitely gets less angry as the show goes on. his development as a character is the best on the show, in my opinion. he starts off super prickly and obviously hates the changes that crystal brings to his dynamic with charles, but that changes as he gets less repressed. love your reactions! :)

you also have to remember that Edwin spent 70 years in hell, he hasn’t had THAT much time to actually yknow process everything considering that shortly after escaping he met Charles and then they started solving cases.

The Cat King definitely awakened something in Edwin. Funny that some other reactors assumed that Monty would go after Crystal or Niko, and you realized right away that he’d go after Edwin. Definitely a bit of a proxy war between the witch and the Cat King.

Temper your expectations when it comes to the source material and its queer content if you decide to check out the comics. The characters are much younger (both are 12) there and the stories focus on them helping other ghost children.

To be fair though, I’m the comics Edwin is gay, and Charles is bisexual. So at least there’s that! 😀

​@@AmanCreatesArt Edwin liking Charles is a new thing from the 2022 comic but Charles is not bisexual in the comic. Idk where that comes from, he only has female love interests

Also Simon thought Edwin rejected him, which is why he pulled the prank.
I think people are saying Edwin is autistic to a point. He was also awkward when he died at 16 and the only person he interacted with for 30 years is Charles, who likes him as he is.
