my guess would be it's more important to have dexterity on your hands than protection just like EOD suit, what's the point of sending soldiers into battle if they can't fight effectively?

you can see tanks like the Soviet object 279 and American T77 tanks, these two tanks in reality were only prototypes, but in a scenario like this mods in listed, they might have been produced in series
It makes sense to see object 279 it was made to withstand a nuke from far away and basically was a bunker on tracks
That is the T54E1, a real prototype tank not the fantasy paper tank T77 from WoT.
I have the tank in War Thunder so i'm familar with it because it is the same model they are using in this game.
I like how both enlisted and warthunder utilize limited time event to test out new mechanic & content

This gotta be one of the most metal thing I've seen, imagine still waging WW3 after nuclear fallout. Either humanity is truly brave or just plain stupid... or both.

That was literally the plan. What most people dont understand about WW3 was that the nukes would be the beginning, not the end of the war. After the initial nuclear exchange our armies will still have to fight the old fashioned way and grind each other down trench by trench until one country emerged as the victor. The Soviets had schematics for a whole host of post-apocalyptic vehicles like prop powered SU-25s to keep up production for the battles in the wasteland.
Its why in Ukraine the Russians are finding it so hard to take factories and steel mills, each major factory there has a whole host of underground fallout bunkers to house workers so that they can keep manufacturing even as the nukes were falling. The Ukrainians have stocked each one full of ammo and supplies which is why they were able to hold out in Mariupol for three months despite being cut off from the rest of the world.

yea just like when War Thunder had really sweet dieselpunk walker tanks, future tanks, esc and are never to be seen again. "just testing and fun" more like "just teasing and disappointingly short-lived"

Its an engine problem i presume. I think the more time goes on smoother and better animations will improve. Just give developers time.

Yes, with a proper scope mount it's possibile (the One in the video it's fictional since Is mounted on the dust cover)
For today standards the PU scope is an optic for assault rifles.

@@T-90SK My dad owns an ak sort of like that, but it's not black. The scope is giant and looks awkward but it's weight is light and you can see very far.
@@gastone2168 if you combined the PU Scope mount with that of a PSO-1 mount lock I could see it being possible. The last rifle that scope was mounted to was the SKS though, and that was a rarity. Most AK's now use the PSO-1 Scope or one with a similar mount specific to the AK, SVD, VSS/AS-VAL, and some others. The PU scopes were mainly made for the SVT-40 before being moved over to the Mosin in 1943 and then the SKS in the 50's.

sound fx are a bit... bland. for a game released last year this looks a lot like a 2010-ish game. the graphics aren't that great but immersion is usually done more through sound/feel than visuals, and the game lacks both. i know it's free as i've seen countless ads on facebook, hopefully they polish it and it becomes better on the upcoming months.

Well the map looks cool. Not like its a reqirement to make all soldiers wear radiation protection gear. It would still be apretiated, but you can have fun regardless.

Человеку нравится и всё, и мне тоже, и многим другим. О вкусах не спорят.
Во всех шутерах так, но, тут не только кнопку кто быстрее нажмёт, надо ещё и обхитрить для большей эффективности.
В шутере решают аим и реакция, удивительно. Никогда такого не было.
Для дураков: не во всех шутерах так. Сравните Hell let loose с этой казуалкой, например.
