I mean this is an animation mod not an immersion mod. Given that Hitman, one of the co creators of this mod, had an animation mod where the 9mm played different animations depending on it's condition and a cowboys weapon animation set that changes if uou have the cowboy perk, I think a mod that plays different animations based on your skill is possible. It'll just be an enormous amount of work since there would be at least 2-3 times the animations for each weapon.
I like how the .357 Magnum Revolver looks in the video! Looks like a modern reproduction of a accurate standard Colt Single Action Army. Except that even the improved animations show the cylinder go counterclockwise and having the hammer down instead of having it half cocked when reloading which no examples exist in real life historically…

The only thing I dislike abiut these mods is they forget where Courier's guns are - two handed guns are on their back, one handed on their hip. The animations on most of these are phenomenal, but the sound balancing needs work. I kinda like the one handed animation
Question is, does this anim also apply to NPCs?
honestly my biggest gripe is that it makes one-handed pistols be held two-handed
sure, probably more practical, but it's boring
Was there an overhaul for the animations of Red Glare, the rocket launcher from Lonesome Road?
I don't like that every time modders add new gun animations they use this killing floor, CODMW2019 type reloads and styles when don't even match the game genre
Well it’s their mods they can make what they feel like making
I recommend hitman's animation mods, they're much better than vanilla but more grounded / less tacticool than other anim mods
@@zen_arcadeno they are not
bruh the NVAOC silenced .22 having that much recoil gave me physical pain. I've shot that ruger mk3 in real life and you barely even notice you've shot it
Kinda kiIIed the feel of all the energy weapons
Why the spent microfussion cells clink like casings tho
What animation mod lets you two hand all weapons? I tried Asurah but a lot of the gun animations are broken. I settled with DWA with HipControl to more center the pistols for now.
i always wished there was a mod that used the vanilla animations until you got to a certain weapon skill like 60 or 70 then use the new animations to show your mastery of the weapons. never made sense to me flinging a cowboy repeater and reloading like a champ when i only have 14 in the gun skill.
Its incredible how much newer the modded animations make the game feel
This is a TTW mod so do these animations work with Fallout 3 too? Haven’t played yet so unsure if they share the same weapons or if the author made animations for F3 too
