Yeah I always want to enjoy games like this but the respawn time plus the time it takes to get into a fight just kills it for me. If i want to make good use of my gaming time it feels wasted when I could have an unlucky day of being one tapped. Sure the days that doesnt happen to me feel great but it all depends on the RNG of the day

A game that is extremely realistic for most of its combat, but arcade enough to not be so painful you don't want to play. Few things compare to hard charging a position, the guy ahead of you getting mulched by a rocket, while your tanks fire overhead to suppress, or fight an enemy tank.
Hell Let Loose is one of the scariest games Ive ever played and this is why it makes so good Its a game where you actually fear the death because who wants to walk a marathon when you respawn and just to die again? Now go out there Soldat and show your skills!
This is a title that I hope continues to receive support from developers and players. It's a rare one in today's market and deserves it. An awesome game.
It's a great game, but sometimes I wish I could just vibe as a soldier. But I always gets kicked out from other squads or they're full, and no, I don't want to be a squad leader I can't stand all the voices from all the squad leaders and squad lol, but yeah the game is the most immersive I've played in YEARS, awesome game indeed
Every day it inches closer to being my favorite game of all time. It really might be. Nothing is like it and going back to older styles of games after this feels like a step back. I want this franchise to grow and improve forever.

This really reminds me of red orchestra! That game was absolutely fantastic, you could have game modes that were super real and youd get shot but slowly bleed out allowing you to rob another kill,or get shot in the legs and youd need a medic to get you up from crawling. This has mad red orchestra feels! Those were the days sniping nazis in stallingrad

@@adamstannard7934 The battles played out more realisticly, if you acted like this in red orchestra you'd last a second before being shot. That game had proper tank crews, machine gun teams and mortar positions. This looks like COD.
Whenever I play Machine gunner and I run mg42 I have to imagine how terrifying that weapon was for the allied forces , if you don’t know what I mean look at the fire rate differences in the allies machine guns versus the Germans , the Germans almost doubled the firing rate , can you imagine being an American or Brit and the fastest firing guns you heard were BARS and other browning variants that are fine weapons but this mg42 would have had huge psychological effect , it just had to simply put .
@@matthewjones39 The .50 BMG fire rate was a fraction of the MG-42. Allies troops used to call it Hitler's Buzz Saw or sometimes The Zipper, because it sounded so ridiculous. Granted the.50 was a substantially bigger and more powerful round, but if you got hit by the MG-42, usually it was by more than one bullet, because they are fired so close together. It is still used today, in Germany, as the M-3, which fires the same rate, but with a 7.62 NATO round.
@@matthewjones39 Yes, but you have to be able to hit in order for the caliber to matter. The MG42, just by the nature of its fire rate had a higher hit ratio. But, yes, you can't discount the incredible power of the .50.

The combat in this game is top tier. Problem is you spend 95% of your time running to the combat in an open field, getting sniped down on the way and having to start again. My hand cramped from holding shift w before I got into a fight
Yeah, don't go across open fields in any situation. If you can help it don't take paths of least resistance, that's where enemies will have their most fortified defenses and weapons ready. Do flanks, travel under concealment.
the faded color filter looks better than the standard game color - like old color film from the war. Has a real gritty feel - should have this filter as a mod for the game. great video.
Find a good team and practice!! Your going to get zapped a lot at first. Hang in there. Always listen to your squad leader. Better yet, become a good leader, or commander yourself. Learn more, play less, at first. Watch tutorials. Learn the logistics side. Learn the commander side. And, tune in to Nano's channel for some laughs.
When that MG-42 starts firing at you.. The sound of it and how everything in sight turns into a blurry mess making you instantly duck for cover. Oh the horror and love
I’m going to go as far to say that this game is definitively the best multiplayer WW2 shooter ever created. Capitalize on what the community wants! A bunch of more maps and campaigns, factions, and proximity chat where you can talk to the enemy would be even more fun. I can’t count how many times I’ve laughed so hard from proximity chat in Insurgency sandstorm. Hardcore, gritty, realistic shooters are gonna be the future of pvp.
Every time I need to deploy bipods quickly the game derps on me. It doesn't take long for the enemy to notice a guy behind the wall struggling to deploy a machine gun lol
only thing this clip is missing is those moments under heavy artillery fire where all you can do is go prone and pray. there have been matches where my squad's only objective is to support each other and survive under the pressure, and I have never had more fun in a shooter than playing medic in those situations
The most terrifying thing in this game for me is when you hear that Stuka coming in. You don't know if you're the target or someplace else. That and the brutal firefights.
Ah makes me remember holding that one tiny shack in the forest ahead of the point - while my squad was send to Attack theirs - I defended ours. MG 42 - 25 kill streak. They kept trying to sneak into my vacinity but I caught most of them. The lack of ammunition was my downfall though. We lost the point after that. Incompetence!
one time in hurtgen forest I lived an entire match as a US machine gunner holding down bunkers, similar killstreak, survived from the truck ride to the end

I don't get it. This game sucks ass, and yet the entire comment section is applauding it because?... They don't even give an explanation. Because it looks good? It "feels" realistic? I've been following this game's devlopment since the kickstarter. It's just a BF2 clone. A really shitty ill-concienved placeholder at that. The original design fell through in Beta and the devs had to slap something together to put to market, so they sold it to Team17 as soon as it was 50% of the way there. It will likely never be finished. And yet I see all these people praising this objective failure of a game based on some doctored cherry picked montage that in no way accurately reflects the game.

@@Fabrizio_Ruffo This game rises above games like BF2 simply because of how much immersion it generates. Obviously, since its a game, there are multiple factors. But the biggest one is immersion. The most important pillars of any game are immersion and the amount of knowledge the player is given. Having played multiple Battlefields and HLL, I'd give it to HLL every time. The immersion is so much better, and the hierarchy that allows players to be commands/squad leaders is also a huge plus in it's design which Battlefield lacks in.

Besides the massive historical and military issues that make the game a parody of WWII. The graphics are passible but not amazing. The mechanics are 15 years out of date. The sound design is actually sub par: But who's counting. I just find it troubleing that so many consumers are praising this mediocrity. This is why companies like EA get away with the shit they do. Y'all need to play some old games, just to see how far the industry came and how far it's fallen.
I remember I was playing on D-Day and I found a really good spot with the MG-42 where I was just mowing guys down from 200 metres away, that was a great day.
It is! When the teamplay works. It's the worst when not.. Still hands down my favourite shooter. Sometimes you just get on a bad server and have to change. This game requires good teamwork and in almost all cases, a mic. (if play as a less "significant" role, no mic is usually not that big of a deal as long as they still listen to orders. If people don't, that's an instant kick from my squad)
Much better than call of duty and battlefield. Realistic, team work, you feel like a real soldier and most importantly IT DOESN'T TAKE AN ENTIRE CLIP TO DROP SOMEONE

Nothing screams WW2 like clearing out a house in close quarters infested with German troops. Running out of that house when you’re done, and stumbling into a tank battalion crossing the street. I don’t like to cower or camp in any game, but in Hell Let Loose sometimes you just have to hide and wait for the opportunity, especially behind enemy lines.
Had a great commander and team a few nights ago. Had like 6 wins in a row, had 8 garrys out all the time, holding off artillery, it's so great when it all works out.

Kinda realistic. I get a little annoyed that 'tactics' is simply driving/walking far around the enemy lines to drop an outpost.

If you have a good team with enough garisons and allways an outpost, you dont really have to walk that far, but yes i still agree with that point

Well BF has a very short time to kill. The modern ones at least. Like an average 5 to 1 shots (all the guns in the game in one spectrum)

Had a great commander and team a few nights ago. Had like 6 wins in a row, had 8 garrys out all the time, holding off artillery, it's so great when it all works out.
Its unlike anything else when the pieces all come together.
