Dale swam back to the Bell wearing her sandals. How did she do that? Also, every body’s clothes are dry. Everybody is standing around drinking coffee. Even the nearly drowned diver who ran out of air, they give him a cup of coffee. Charlie has been living in his cave for 14 years. The minute he gets his hands on a woman, he gets killed. I see bad karma here!
Why, everyone knows that coffee and cigarettes in the 1950's would cure all your ailments.
The Universal Panacea.
LOL You made a good movie even better.... Thank ya'
Yes, everybody knew that cigarettes 🚬 and coffee ☕️ would cure nearly anything. Cigarettes 🚬 certainly cured my sister. Her chain smoking lug cancer cured her from a longer life. She died when she was barely 60. 🥺🥺🥺😢😢😢
And look at Laurie´s nails at the end! all tidy and well painted. Apart from the fact that the hair of all is perfect, well combed and look like they have already been shampooed. But who´s watching that when they have fresh air from a volcano inside the deep ocean. Amazing LOL
I think the real "horror" here was when the "explorers" saw the old crazy cave man and realized that they would soon be looking like that.
Yeah, I remember seeing a movie where the women were either nuns with perfect manicured nails or they were cave women all with greatly quaffed hair and nails.
“He is oxygen deprived. Here let’s give him coffee!” LOL
Haha, that was the best, among all the ridiculous things of this movie.
Were you talking about the author?
In that time frame it was either that or a cigarette, the universal panacea.
Physics left the room when this was made...lol
Hahahaa so many mistakes that it´s unbelievable!
@@LauRa-re9unLike how can the hatch to the bell be on top without the bell flooding when they opened it?
@@dokskwyr4353 Another one and counting...so funny LOL :D
and Geography... "Our first attempt will be in the Pacific... right now they are in the Florida Keys"
I have already watched and will watch this classic again. ❤🍿
I'm not going to watch this right now, but I gave it a thumbs up because I have seen it two or three times before. I want the owner of this channel to know that I am subscribed to the channel, and watch a lot of the movies it offers.
I am very thankful for this type of content being available.
Agree 100%
Same here.
Love them ❤
The great John Carradine, three years after he played Aaron in The Ten Commandments.
Thank you
John Carradine was such a great actor, so varied and changeable.
Great under water photog for that era, even now!!!
昔テレビでシリーズで放送してたのですか?
怖かったけど、めちゃくちゃ面白かった。
小学生だったのですが、怖いもの見たさで夢中で見ていました‼️
LOL
How can the hatch to the bell be on top without the bell flooding when they opened it?
Very low budget, but they made the best of it and this is actually quite good if a bit slow. Carradine is the only skilled actor and with not very good written for him dialogue it stills shows. I can't recommend this, but then again I wouldn't say don't watch it because It's remarkable what was accomplished with such a low budget.
Having worked underground in hard rock mines, I would think that as deep as they were supposed to be- they would be sweltering to death without forced air ventilation from the surface.
Never mind, all for the fun of it. LOL
Gotta be honest--that opening narration is pretty darn solid. A bit meh as a storytelling device, but really well informed an reasoned. Waaay better than what I'd expect from a John Carradine B-movie.
The layer cannot be composed of plankton because plankton needs sunlight.
yes but note the other comment, “physics are suspended”
Esses filmes da década de 40,50 60, 70,eram maravilhosos, tem um charme, filmes muito agradáveis de ver
Bravo
Fun movie🤩🤩💖thank you
yep, physics and gravity were left on the surface, here. why doesn't the bell flood with ocean water when the hatch is open for them to scuba swim out !? and where is all the bright lights coming from in the subterranean sea cave !? and they are not breathing oxygen nor surface air, what are they breathing down there !?
It’s great to enjoy this even though an opening out would allow ocean water to fill the cave.. love it .. gotta go get more popcorn!
yep, and once back in the diving bell her hair is dried, combed and styled all while under hundreds of fathoms under water ! haar !! pass the popcorn 🍿 will ya ?
The famous "Vulcano air". ROFL.
OMG I laughed so much with these comments.
Somebody in this cave is looking like old Charlie Manson! 14 years and no woman folk in the cave. Hmmm! Now there is two in a cat fight.
A real phenomenon at 17:17.
The music changes over from a 1959 soundtrack to a modern midi orchestrated one.
Yeah, noticed that too... Maybe the original sound of that section was damaged..
A great adventure sea world film
agree totally
I just about finishing seeing that on Amazon prime yesterday dangit 😂
It's a awful film 😅
@@mikesilva3868 and we both get to see it again gee aren't we lucky.
Película con una buena idea pero con un pésimo guión y peores actuaciones...No tiene ritmo ni escenas destacables de acción ni tensión, y un final acartonado y simplón...Aún con todo, gracias por compartir la posibilidad de conocer este filme a quien lo subió.
God made many creatures and other wonders that no man will ever see. 😇😇😇
is this movie a sequel to Jules Verne. 1000 under the sea OR IN THE SAME VEIN
the starfish hanging by a piece of string.
Dale: the KAREN that started it all.
NB "avalanche" = snow; "rockslide" = rock; "mudslide" = mud 😮
Haha….if only it were that simple. Inside the bell looks like the same inside of early rocket ship cabins…..plus a car battery or two. Yes, it was so simple to entertain.
Isn't the "gulf" and Caribbean the same thing
Gulf is Gulf of NpMexico… west side Florida, Texas, Mexico, etc. Caribbean is east of Florida, Bahamas, etc…
Wouldn't it be pitch black
The phosphorus of the caves give "light". I like it because when they decide to sleep, suddenly the phosphorus turns off and it gets dark :D
37:49 EEEEGAH !
🥰
The male actors aren't too bad. The actresses are dreadful and you can tell they hated each other behind the camera trying to overdo each other, it's not just in the script and they're both very superficial. The scientific side of the movie is ridiculous, the whole bell process is so badly recreated it looks like a children tale with props. Zero to the director and production.
Women just as good as men but at 14.55 women always the first to crack😂.
WTF
Fish history?
"Diving bell" 😂😂😂😂
Look at every image of every true diving bell: the hatch(!) would be under the bottom, not on top, for reasons so obvious i wont mention them.
🎉😂🎉
Yes, check out the movie, "The Abyss". The room has to be pressurized to keep the water from rising in the room otherwise, you'd have to flood the whole room first with you in it with breathing apparatus and then swim out.
Same for returning. You'd enter the already flooded compartment open to the ocean and then close the hatch as the water is pumped out and air forced in at a specific bar.
Submarines with diver access had that kind of set up.
They didn't put bottom hatches on subs for the reason that if the sub sunk to the bottom, there would be no way to escape.
There are some WWII movies about subs getting into situations where the crew had to wear an air filled bag that they would slowly breath out after being released from the sub in the flooded compartment.
That way they wouldn't get "the bends" or nitrogen narcosis.
There is a device now that will put you on the bottom of a river or near shallow area where the water is pumped out and after YOU go though a decompression period, you can then walk on the area like walking on land. Not sure how deep that contraption can do that.
When a bridge is being built that spans a deep water area, a shield is set around the area where the bridge's ground supports will be placed and the water pumped out but all the workers going down there have to decompress when coming up even though there is no water around your body. STRANGE...................
I don't know which bridge it was but it was a long time ago when a specific bridge with deep ground supports was being built and they build the water shield and pumped out all the water and then when the workers were coming back up they were suffering from the "bends" but the doctors didn't know what was happening to them at first.
Later they figured it out.
I think some of the workers died in the beginning.
Ναι το άνοιγμα προς τα πάνω και νερό δεν μπήκε στο...κουδούνι 😂ακου κουδούνι χαχαχαα
I'm so glad that you didn't mention them as it would be a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of two travesties disguised as a sham parading as a mockery.
Didn't Einstein approve the physics of this movie?

Pointy bra. 😎
WTF movie...i lost my time watching this...
Usual American awfulness masquerading as a classic..lame acting, ridiculous improbable story line, if you could go as far as to call it that, and no other merits...wish I hadn't wasted my time..🙁
Make a better one, we will wait.
Cult classic movies are not filled with top notch actors like Henry Fonda, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep… they are also not big budget movies.
Featuring the worst false beard you will ever see.
Nothing happened haha what a pointless movie
So many of the actors in the movies are supposed to be unmarried but they still have their wedding rings on . 💍💍💍😅😅😅💍
A nice trash movie from the past.
There is no doubt for the era that this is a good movie , type of scifi l grew up on in the early 60 s , the crying shame is that a good actor from the dirty thirties , John Carradine had to stoop to making these B or C pictures with no names who disappeared quickly , as they deserved.
