      Hi there. Is this located at Bukit Merah Central? Is it the coffeeshop next to the hawker centre? But the environment doesn't look like BMC...

    Hi Ghib, I visited Chicken Yakiniku Tori Yaro yesterday, and they have upgraded their menu to include more beef and pork menu, not exclusive chicken yakiniku anymore 😭. No more chicken gizzard in the menu 😢😢

      That's unfortunate. It's barely even a week from Ghib's video and they removed it from the menu.

    Can tell that Ghib enjoyed the 2nd beef yakiniku stall more. Hearing all the "mmmmm mmmm" but he was rather quiet in the 1st chicken yakiniku stall 😆 but why are the ratings lower?

    There is a famous fried Hokkien Mee nearby. Try Swee Guan at the junction of Geylang Road and Lor 29.

    You'll be surprised to know that chicken innards like heart, liver and gizzards are common in Malay cuisines as well. So I know how they taste. Good review this.

    I eat chicken heart. And I’m singaporean. In fact the first time I ate it was at a Brazil churrasccaria along sixth avenue.

    You can find chicken gizzards, heart and liver at chicken rice stalls but they are prepared differently.

    Marutama Ramen at Killiney also has deep fried Nankotsu. You can go there and try too!

    Don't go to the second store - yakiniku warrior/read the Google reviews first (most people are disappointed). The service is terrible when I was ordering the food - the male staff with long hair and a beard and they didn't even bother lighting up the gas stove for you. Also the amount of pieces they give u is not the same as in the video, it's like a few measly pieces.

    Ironic to see this video. Tori Yaro was my WFH lunch spot at least twice per week...until last week when I just moved out of Geylang. If you're back in the neighborhood, try Hibiki at PLQ for a pretty nice izakaya.
    ps Haha at "korean yakiniku" when yakiniku comes from Koreans.
