Question, do you ever eat off of carnivore? I have been on it for a month and was wondering how I will feel after months of doing this and then eating something like pizza/ice cream/"bad food". I have UC too and the deeper question I want to find is if I can go back to "normal life" eventually.

I have been carnivore for almost 2 years and whilst a lot of things went away, I do not seem to be able to cure my ankylosing spondylitis (maybe wishful thinking). I cut out all dairy because it gives me psoriasis on my elbows.

Now I fast (water+electrolytes and dry fasting) and eat clean meat, eggs and some veggies with low fiber. I also smoke cannabis and take a lot of vitamins and organic oils! This month I finally feel better, almost no blood, no cramps, no diarrhea, no hot feed or pain in my bones! In two weeks I will start working as a teacher and hope all will go well.. I wonder how long for someone to truly be healed because I think if you can eat whatever you want, or atleast things you ate before without an issue then it would be healed. For example I was fine all my life till recently antibiotics have given me a bit of a histamine issue when I eat certain foods. I quickly adapted my diet so I hope that will help. I have also read stem cells for ulcers and that makes sense since I know stem cells fix just about anything, I had some in my shoulder for a torn labrum. The problem is how the F would they even inject my gut with a needle? Anywho meat diet definitely alleviates the symptoms, I have also taken raw colostrum from a farm in hopes of its benefits. Its been about a month and I read that supposedly for every week of antibiotics it takes about a month to heal, so I am lookin for the next month to be much better, although I do feel a bit better now, however, I did alter my diet. The real test to see if youre cured is to eat what would have aggravated you before but I think that depends on how long you go carnivore according to the damage in the gut. How do doctors diagnose ulcerative colitis? Do they actually get a visual or just assume based off of symptoms?

That's great news. What's particularly interesting is that many nutritionists would advise those with this condition to reduce animal product intake, because of the saturated fat content, and it's association with inflammation. However as you demonstrate , it seems to the contrary, inflammation has completely reduced by removing plant foods from the diet. I suspect that it is really excess omega 6 fats, and things like plant lectins, that are the real cause of so much of the inflammation we see in those with health issues related to inflammation. Also I'm sure that the carnivore diet has a highly beneficial effect on the gut microbiome, related to these conditions.

To viewers with CU this is not particularly helpful as you do not give insights on what your vegan diet looked like. It is easy to ear a lot of processed trash foods as a vegan. As you added some non-canivore foods back to your mealplans in the meanwhile, the question remains if carnivore was the central key for you anyway.

I actually got diagnosed about a month ago they said go back to your eating habits I did. Obviously I was in flares for almost a month. I became vegan just 2 days ago and I’ve had no symptoms no bloody stool my diarrhea is now formed stool. Animal based diet was triggering my ulcers and now my ulcers are practically healed. I can eat any vegetable raw or cooked, without having to go to the bathroom urgently. I feel more energized and it’s great. Meat is like insanely bad for you I would take a look at the game changers documentary or what the health super informational.

Different results for different people. Everyone says you need to go plant based with UC or Crohns? For me plant based causes a huge amount of gas and bloating issues.. as well as a general disturbance in my gut and bowel movements. Meats like chicken and fish are fairly easy you digest in my experience and give me the energy I need whilst keeping my toilet habits consistent. We aren’t all the same! Which is why it’s important we watch these videos with an open mind and don’t take them as a go to fix for our problems.

I was on a carnivore diet along with intermittent fasting. I did this for 16 months. I felt the best I did after just one week on carnivore. A lot of my symptoms disappeared, and I got my energy back. However, I was never able to have a formed stool for the entire 16 months. All of my symptoms came back. After 16 months, I could not stomach just eating meat. I followed all the big name carnivore Dr's on UTUBE and believed everything they said about how you can heal inflammatory bowel disease with the carnivore diet. Didn't happen for me. So disappointed and angry. We are all different and carnivore doesn't work for everyone, so please stop saying this is a cure all, as it isn't. I am happy for you that it worked, but it doesn't work for everyone.

I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick. Natural herbs can cure all kinds of illness including herpes, diabetics, asthma, Cancer, hepatitis, etc. I've seen it with my own eyes. I was cured of ulcerative colitis and my Sister and her Husband were cured of herpes by dr Osemuahu who uses natural herbs to cure different kind of illness. Even Dr. Osemuahu proved to the whole world that natural herbs can cure all diseases and he cured countless of people using natural herbs. I know is hard to believe but am a living testimony. Please don't follow a carnivore diet just because it worked for her! This is purely anecdotal and for now the science seems to be pointing out that your risk of UC is increased with meat intake. Also don't ignore the fact that there is considerable evidence that meat (especially red and processed) increases your risk of developing cancer, since we already have considerably more risk due to UC adding a lot of meat to our diet is doing awful harm. Also, UC causes INFLAMMATION, a carnivorous diet is anything but anti-inflammatory.
