    Very helpful information. It was really great news from the Vietnamese government for Malaysians to change to 45 days instead of 30. I intend to explore some investment opportunities in Danang and really appreciate these changes. I expect these changes will also give a great boost to the tourism industry, especially in Danang.

    Vietnam should go digital . All visas and documents need to be stamped and physical. Many countries don't even require you to provide your passport in order to issue you a visa and PDF copies of documents are enough for everything.

    Sorry Ken, the reciprocity is a BS excuse for why US and Canada need a visa. Vietnamese need a visa to enter the UK, but yet the UK passport holder is on the Vietnam visa free list. Take Thailand for example, they got it right allowing most westerners to enter w/o visa and that's why Bangkok is the 2nd most visited city in the world after Hong Kong. And yes Thai still need visa to enter the US. The amount of tourist dollars spent in Vietnam far outweigh the money collected from the visa fee. Vietnam missed an opportunity on this one.

      It is indeed a great news. Though, we need to mention that the system will not let abuse itself. We expect on average 4 issuances in a row before getting denied. The 90-day e-visa is not a long-term solution to living in Vietnam. If you want to live long term in Vietnam, there are alternatives. But all require financial capabilities.

    My evisa is approved this month (Oct 2023). I'm going on a cruise. Can I enter & exit any seaport borders instead of the borders when I did my application.
    When I applied I used entry Hai Phong seaport & exit Ho Chi Minh seaport. Now, Celebrity informed me that entry is Hon Gai seaport & exit is Vung Tau seaport. (My evisa paper doesn't have entry/exit listed)

      This is a single entry e-visa.
      I found this online but not sure it's correct.
      After 15th August, 2023: Vietnam evisa is accepted through 42 international borders (airport, landport and seaport). Entry and exit port are not mentioned in the evisa paper this means that you can use the Vietnam evisa at any International border gates.

    America, Australia & Canada are first world countries. You cant expect us to have an easy entry for tourist as this will encourage overstaying & probably people working on a tourist visa. So it makes sense we have strong border security. Im suprised your government has a motto of " well we need a visa to your country, so like wise you have to have one too"

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your comment. It ultimately comes down to experience and knowledge. To take your example, US nationals do need an ETA to enter Australia, which can be compared to an e-visa (meaning electronic authorization to enter Australia). But that is besides the point, as immigration law does not need to follow any particular logic. Although, it would be nice to enter Vietnam without visa, being in another country is not a right, it is privilege. Vietnam is a sovereign nation and chooses who can cross its borders with or without visa regardless of any reason behind those policies. Other factors play a role, including past events. But those would take too long to narrate. And as a law firm, we can say that most illegal migrants who work in the U.S. do not even have tourist visas or any visas for that matter.

    • @parasitius

      I disagree. If there are 1 million illegal Mexicans in the USA and no effort to find and depart them, then Vietnamese should be allowed to freely enter the USA no visa until they also have 1 million illegals. Equality is what I ask for. Vietnamese are no threat to these developed countries, they're only a benefit. You can't even make a case that they're a threat, while with people involved in some sort of extremist ideological groups (Islam) you might be able to say there is a risk & qualification should be required, but something like Thais Vietnamese Colombians - hell no.

    I am from Turkey
    We had to get a c1 visa to enter the country. For this, visa companies had to pay us about +100 dollars on top of the e-visa fee. Is this still valid so I don't want to pay for it, just because I don't want to use your country even for transit! Currently there are still sites that demand this , is this legal ? Do we have to pay $100 just for an invitation letter written by someone from Vietnam?
    If I only knew these high prices, I would never have flown to Vietnam, so I plan to stay in your country for 9 days. The only reason for this is the policy your country has applied to us, so you don't even treat America like that, where you're fighting. I don't know if this is racism or if it is bribery, why are you discriminating against us?
    I hope u can answer to me!

    Hello, thanks for the information. I am a Myanmar passport holder and planning to travel in and out of Ho Chi Minh from 20th August till 3rd of September. (That is the only available flight we were able to buy). Will I be able to get a 45 days exemption? Because if not my travel days are probably counted to be total 15 days (1 day extra than current 14 days exemption).

    Is it possible to get a 90day tourist visa by Aug. 19? If so, how much are all charges?

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Given it usually takes 3 to 5 business days to get it issued, it would be possible if all provided information are valid. However, a more plausible timeframe would be from August 18 to August 22. If you want to prebook it now, feel free to email us for more information.

    Do you know that south American doesnt require VISA for many countries up to 90 days. However when you arrive at the airport, the custom will decide how long you can stay 2 weeks . If you are backpackers and tatoos then you only get 2 weeks and then you have to apply for visa. Viet nam should learn from South America , we only want high end tourism. Vietnam ready to speak English with any country in the world, we look at your bank balance not your passport or your height. " No money - No honey" love you long time

      Thailand is doing that too, they make you show you bank acc and make sure you got 25k usd in there before you can retired there, 25k is not that much but for a backpacker its a lot.

      Please specify your nationality, as South-American is not a country. It varies from nation to nation.

      What a ridiculous comment. First of all your are talking about Mexico, which is in NORTH America. No South American countries do what you claim. Second of all, the idiot country I have no respect for (Thailand) bragged during the whole pandemic they didn't want "poor broke" tourists and "backpackers" anymore and that in the future Thailand vacations would only be for the rich. And what did those inflated ego losers of a government actually do? Nothing, they realized they're a joke because no one will waste their time in Thailand having to put up with Tinglish noise (instead of just speaking Thai like any self-respecting country, compare Colombia, Japan, Korea)... if it isn't CHEAP$$$.

      @@duongglobalbusinessconsulting We are not here to name them and shame those country . we are talking about how intelligent these country that adopt policy which bring benefit to the people and society compared to vietnam. In Indonesia , if tourist only transit at the airport for a few hours still have to pay $30USD dollar for VISA. Look at viet nam? what is the point send your children to study math day and night for 12 years ?

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @VanTran-ne4yf , as an immigration law firm, we do not shame any country and as a matter of fact, it is not shameful at all, as border entrance is based on the immigration officer's assessment. We just asked you to be specific, as, first, South-America is not a country, and, second, we have never witnessed what you described on your original comment, which was the original topic.

    Hi,
    tx for this info.
    I stuck in unique case, i am travelling in Vietnam at 24th aug. I have already got visa but in passport, given names has mine name(first name) + my father name, in ICAO line it also have surname+ mine name + father name. So based on the website i added the same format in evisa and it got approved as well. Now, boarding pass will only have surname and first name and visa will have full name so it will create any conflict?
    I have also uploaded my passport pic in new portal, its also taking given name as first name+ father name so there will be any issue?
    Please reply....

    Be CAREFULL of VN. No matter what you have invested or innocent there. They can deny your visa ANYTIME FOR ANYTHING or NOTHING. I had crew visas all over the world for 20 years planet wide. Except one time in VN. Denied before a work trip. No reason. No word. Lost my job. 3 weeks later it was cleared. No reason, no word. Magic. This was for work. No issues in country.
