I have a pre-order on the RWD in Australia, how was the white colour? I know the white is very silver on the Atto 3 but haven’t seen the white seal in person yet. I reckon they 61kWh battery version will be a big seller when it arrives in the Eu given the 82kWh battery versions’ comparatively premium pricing
As with the other 2 responses, I have to agree. The white is very white and not silver-like. Suits the Seals shape very well. Just means when it’s dirty you need to clean it ASAP and get it looking spotless again. A 61kWh version would sell well here if the price is right and still has a strong range to give the driver.
I've seen a few white seals and the black and blue/ grey in Brisbane Australia. First time i seen it o thought it was an Mazda rx9 Rotary or something like that. It wasn't till i thought about it that it was the seal.
The leather in the seal is real leather not fair leather. And Australia is the only place to get the blue leather interior (special one off advertising interior never meant to be sold in cars), it's $1,500 for that option and have to wait for cars
Thank you for your comment. I’ll aim to have the Seal in 2024 for a full review. I’ll also be looking at the Dolphin and Atto 3 for a full review as well.
Hello, could you confirm that the unit you drove it's the Marengo Grey Colour? And if it's so, have you got more pictures of it? (I have ordered one and here at the dealership they don't even have the color samples yet) Thank you!!
Don't say that too loud, you'll offend the cultist Teslaers who pray to the God's of minimalism. Just taking the piss, but I test drove both. BYD is more of a "car', M3 is some basic furniture with a large iPad in the middle for making part noises and opening gloved boxes. Tbf it did drive well, but aesthetically not for me.
I really like the car but that massive glass roof would just bake/kill the interior in QLD Australia, sitting in a car park for a normal work day all year.
Thank you for your comment. Yes compared to Tesla and Hyundai Group, the Seals charging speed isn’t the quickest. Just need to find something to do for those extra 15 mins or so whilst charging. I’m sure that time will fly by quickly. ☺️
@@Vishvaguru_HafiZzz Seen M3 Long Range Vs Seal AWD fastest model on Carwow, unsurprisingly the the fastest Seal did poorly against not the fastest Tesla M3. Brake performance, handling, weight, mid range punch and noise level of the most expensive Seal seems to be inferior compared to mid level Tesla M3. I'll be going for a test drive in Seal AWD in a few weeks to see what the fuss is about.
@@borinvlogsNonsense. Watched the same video. Seal beat the Tesla (x2) over the 1/4 mile. Also shorter breaking distance. Lost on eco mode race (which was a gimmick) and higher end speeds as its limited about 10kph roughly below the M3.
Hi Samuel. Thanks for your comment. I’d be laughing too as it’s a bargain for the performance and quality available. This is very similar to the IONIQ 6 and Model 3 long range.
As Bear said each to their own, but try and find an alternative that's not a tesla that doesn't cost 20k more than the Seal with similar spec, it's grand, I'll wait.
So at the end of the day, it does get your Seal of Approval! 👍
Yes it does and cannot wait to see what the Seal (as well as the Dolphin and Atto 3) are like to live with for a full review. Roll on 2024!
Drove one recently, very impressed, very quiet @ 120kmh
Really sexy car , I agree that it is by your great reporting, that it is much better than any Tesla’s 👍🏻 huge thumbs up.
Thank you for the comment Steven. The Seal would definitely be my choice over the Tesla. But an IONIQ 6? 🤔 That’s a tough decision.
@@AutoBears I think the fairest, most rational thing would be to buy both. Simple 😮

Gorgeous car..
Great car and review.
love it 👍
Thank you. Glad you love the video.
Good thing they got rid of “Build Your Dreams”
I was hoping they'd paint it on the panoramic roof too. Pity...
Good looking car
If you push down on the cup holders they go down so you can put tallers bottles in there.
That’s a very cool feature and look forward to testing that for the full review next year. Thank you for sharing.
What's the external colour of this model? Great review

White is my favorite color for Seal. It just looks gorgeous ❤
I went to the showroom in Australia, the white for seal is genuinely white. The atto3 white is definitely closer to silver.

Much more luxurious interior than a Tesla.

interior look gobs better than the model 3. then again, that's not a very high standard.

You are correct.
Hope so as ive ordered indigo grey buy very little pics online of this colour name.
good!
Did u call yourself bear??? Nah you look very much like the seal you've showcased earlier lol
lol I can’t be a seal as I’m not at home in the water and I’m hairy underneath. Not to mention my bear hugs are legendary!

The sunroof has a silver coating that reflects sunlight. It passes much less heat than a Tesla sunroof.

Tesla is overrated
