It looks likes a futuristic test to see how long the new generation can last in a survival situation
No it’s not, you start off on an island, you make weapons starting from bows, stone tools and hunt loads of different dinos and you evolve with other people (multiplayer not a story game) you go in caves fight huge spiders, hats and scorpions, to the artefacts to unlock the ultimate bosses. Again, this is an ark player from the future lol, PREPARE FOR A TON OF UPDATES AND AWESOMENESS
ARK.. although now one of the most hated game because they released a paid DLC in Early Access, it still is beautiful. The possibilities, all the stuff to do.. it's endless. You want to fly high into the sky? Go, do it. You want to go deep into the oceans to fight the gigantic monsters of the sea? Go, do it. You just want to chill at a lake and catch some fish? Okay, you know it. Just do it. No matter what, you can do it in this game.
THERES ONE THING YOU CANT DO!!! achieve 60 fps. lol

I got two spinos, two rexes, several raptors, a shark, condors...so much fun.
ive been playing it for 2 weeks now, omg its awesome. basically the story from what ive seen so far is that you have been teleported onto this island by ets. but in the map in secret caves they scattered artificiats u gotta find to summon different bosses, the whole game is a survival game, quit fun when u have like 20 ppl on a server. and with new dino added every month or so, it gets pretty fun. the scary factor in the beginning of not running into a carni is pretty intense. u gotta try it, its like 25us on steam

Well the futuristic building things are arms which are used to summon bosses but since this game is still in beta access on steam there is only one boss so far and it's a giant spider. This game is like all your fears rolled into one.

Besides the bugs this game is awesome I played it for 4.5 hours and it is amazing especially for an alpha game. It is better than some finished games .the only problem is that dinosaurs take far to long to tame.

From what i can understand, this game is in early access, and comes out for consoles 2016? Still looks fucking amazing, if this turns out really good, and not like Forest 2.0 i will freaking sell everything i own just to buy a PS4 so i can play this. Free Roam + Amazing Graphics + Guns + Dino's + DINOS YOU CAN FUCKING RIDE?! This is a definite buy in my book, crossing my thumbs for this game.

skileg10 Oh yeah because it's THAT easy to get a powerful enough PC to run a game like this properly, and when i say properly, i mean fully HD on High settings (thats my definition of properly at least). I'd rather wait to see how the game turns out too, if this turns as i said into The Forest 2.0, then it would just be a waste of money. And besides this is still in EA, don't feel like playing it incomplete anyways.

Banned Angel Uh, yeah. Your computer doesn't have to be too good as long as you play in "Extremely low memory mode". Mine is actually pretty bad, and I can play the games in around 40 fps without any crashes.
DonkeyGames You serious? This game looks like something out of the PS1 when in low settings. Plus even beast computers can barely run the game at 30 FPS from what i hear from a lot of different youtubers who play the game. There are major performance bugs as of right now, also, i have a shitty laptop that runs Skyrim with medium setting on barely 30 fps. I highly doubt i'll even be able to start this let alone play it.

This game is far from futuristic, what you were seeing was precursor activity. And that Dinosaur wasn't a "Triceratops" it had 5 horns thus the name " Triceratops" is no longer associated with the organism.
