I’m all in on this version. And I’ve listened to both the studio and Conan versions countless times. And I watch reaction videos, loving the joy when new folks discover what David has done with this song.

When I hear David sing it, it feels like a warning about global warming and so many millions of voices not being heard by politicians who also didn't hear to stop having wars. Wars won't matter if there's no one to fight them.

David has a wonderful voice!! I grew up with everything from clasic music to heavy metal. Both my parents played almost everything and both sang in relatively large choirs. I was "forced" to hold a note for a long time in front of a candle not blowing it out. But I'll never get that voice. :)

Like, I starts off as observing the state of the world, then asking people why they don’t notice it all then the tone growls “wait, you do notice but you’re ignoring the problem hoping it goes away, and then the “roar” you mentioned here rears up and seems to cry out “HOW. DARE. YOU!” before the song tapers off to the end and fades out.
