      Hard work and good genes.
      We see one 30 minute shot in her day, we do not see behind the scenes busy work takes tons energy from you. Also maybe she's not eating the whole plate she cooks for family n friends

    For the vegans,it seems like it would work with extra firm tofu,looks like the same texture as paneer.Has anyone tried it??

    this is so annoying, this is simple enough that even I could make it, but I'm in Serbia, and there's no paneer here... there are some similar looking cheeses, but that just means, no authentic taste for me... ex

    • @leigha8131
      @leigha8131 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can make paneer if you have access to milk and lemons or vinegar! It’s very easy, it just takes awhile. I’ve done it a few times, using Chetna’s method. She has a video on her channel

    • @diamdante
      @diamdante 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can simply boil milk with a gentle heat and then drizzle in lemon juice until it curdles. then collect the curds in a cloth and leave it in the fridge with something heavy squeezing it overnight. or just buy ricotta lmao

    • @mimosveta
      @mimosveta 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leigha8131 thanks, I'll def check it out - does it make significant difference in taste whether you're using lemon juice or vinegar, or is it all the same?

    • @DrBrunoRecipes
      @DrBrunoRecipes 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mimosveta nope but make sure after it curdles you wash it to remove the acidic taste. it is an imp step which most of the people skip and the paneer doesnt taste good

    • @leigha8131
      @leigha8131 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mimosveta as long as you rinse the curds well, there isn’t really much of a difference in flavor, that I’ve noticed. The main difference I’ve found between the two is how much you have to use to curdle the milk. When I’ve used regular white vinegar, it only took a couple tablespoons or so. But when I use lemons, it can take anywhere from 1/4 to 3/4 cup of juice. I think it depends on the acidity of your lemons. But I always have lots of lemons available, so I use them more often.
