    I’ve been in wastewater long enough to know that nothing is as good as it seems. This will eventually fail though. A real simulation would be to fill the tank with grease And fat And wastewater and rags etc and let it run for a year or two minimum. Let that grease cake on the pump and then see how it runs. It will either go into thermal overload or jam up. Liberty is probably the best manufacturer of sewage pumps. But nothing is perfect. We buy at least a pallet of the LE40 and LE50 every 6months. I’m very pleased with Liberty. I’ve had my eye on the Liberty night eye-WiFi alarm. Thanks for everything you guys do!

      Have you had experience with Zoeller pumps, what is better Zoeller or Liberty.

      HERPY DERPEDY Liberty for sure! They have internal capacitors on most models and do t require much trouble shooting when they go out. If the pump is not running it’s either clogged or it’s fried. I believe in using liberty products for sure. I’m not saying zoeller is bad but I’d choose liberty first !

      I have installed and serviced these pumps and they are very good. Yes every thing can and will eventually fail, but these pumps have worked well at the sites I have serviced. If you are dealing with sumps that see grease and fat they should be cleaned regularly anyway or the grease is going to build up on your floats and it will lead to your float switches not working correctly.

    i JUST GOT 2 OF THESE, the one had a bad cap, and runs great now, these are not user friendly to service, as they are oil filled, but seem like a great design, I have a big job for it and I can't wait to see the results. thanks for the video

    I just replaced my EONE with this pump. It seems to be true to the video! I threw everything down into my tank and the Liberty ate everything!
    The EONES are terrible, I replaced/repaired the EONEs at least 5-6 times over a ten year period.

    How well does the 380 1Hp model work? Will it work for a single bath in a pool house, about 50' away from the main house, at about the same level.

    allv ery well but these are things you wouldnt find in a septic tank, unlike condoms, nappies and tampons panty lines etc... thats what I want to know if it will shred.

    it doesn't handle wet tumbleweeds very well.. it's locked down and it's only 3 months old and still fresh actually it's locked up 3 or 4 times during the tumbleweed.. blow in that we had and also had difficult issues with it not pumping during this suction getting plugged up with tumbleweeds not allowing adequate flow show grinder operation never got done.. finally had to pull all the weeds by hand out of the incoming or suction Channel it was a waste of money in our application trying to use this certain grinder or grinder pumps

    Do these have a float? For automatic turn on?

    • @bryanmartinez6600
      @bryanmartinez6600 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they have 2 type a vertical float and a tether float like this one. Look at Sump Pumps Direct they have the different models. Amazon also has some.

    Ours just got clogged. I don’t have the balls to find it myself so we hired a plumber to charge us our life to fix 🤯

      3 years ago when I had a plumber fixing an unrelated problem, I pointed at our residential basement sewage pump and asked how much to replace when the time comes. The plumber said around $5000. This is in Oakland, CA, for a bathroom with 1 toilet/shower/sink. The discharge pipe was 3 inches instead of the typical 2 inch discharge pipe, so the sewage pump (not grinder pump) was a much more heavy duty model. This weekend the piggyback float switch died, so 6 years after buying our house I finally opened up the lid of the sewage pit and carried the sewage pump outside to swap the piggyback float ($35 replacement). I called RC Worst about a heavy duty residential sewage pump and I'm looking at around $350, however I will need to cut out the 3 inch ABS discharge pipe and replace with 2 inch ABS (another $10). For $5k savings, I'm willing to get poo on me

    I bet that pump would grind fingers . I would never place my hand in the tank and trust the gravity switch.

  • @Mr.frag-out

    What are these pumps used for mainly

    • @Warkive
      @Warkive 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For processing waste into a slurry and then pumping it up a small diameter pipe to the main connection for public sewage. This is needed when your property sits lower than most and prevents a gravity feed to the sewer main.

    • @Mr.frag-out
      @Mr.frag-out 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Warkive thanks just wondering it this would work for a septic system cause I have a pump that pumps my secondary tank to the leach field that's uphill from my tank it operates off of a float

      How old is it? Are the cutter plate and rotary still sharp? Might be a start capacitor going bad…
