How to clean your SU carburettor - £500 Budget Morris Minor build

Im getting closer to having a running and driving Morris now!
In this video i pull the carburettor off the car to inspect and replace the gaskets. I ended up just cleaning the SU carburettor as it wasn't quite as bad as expected.
My plan for this car is to get it on the road for as little as possible and keep the 'rat' look for now. This will allow me to focus on my other projects and maybe when this channel has millions of views and is monetized, il get a professional respray.

Enjoyed this video very much!
Carburetor are always last to tune up once engine and ignition timing has been set. It took me a long time to figure how to balance my dual carbs, and hear and see proper air fuel mixture. I really enjoy working on my
b series engine, small easy to handle, very stout little engines.

I like all things towards MORRIS MINOR service and restoration! Off to a good start. Can you tell me is it best to install points ECT. with the distributor out on bench? The rear bolt is quite difficult to get a wrench on. Thank you , David

I think it should be possible to do in situ but i replaced the whole distributor as the upgrade wasn't too expensive
