I went to my local BAA section for a couple hours, Mcfluffchucking. I think this is a Robert The Roach from Mcfluffchucker, courtesy of Baileys Tackle Shop, Brierley Hill. You can order direct here though, I'm sure he won't mind www.spanglefis...
So, yes I missed the one early on and thought that was my chance gone. I spoke to a couple of the regular fisherman down this stretch for first time in a few months, nice to have catch up, then had the one Pike at I'd saying 6lb, more than 7lb, but a decent fish.
Will get out again tomorrow on the river somewhere.
