i like how the scratching is inaudible compared to the audio level of his speech so when he's like "listen to this...incredible" it sounds like there's just an awkward silence with a faint tinny noise in the background..."incredible"
I love TP-07 but is too expensive. Only justification to buy (beside the fomo) is to be used as a professional: clinics interview, journalist, etc. It going to be cool been recorded with this thing.
Very fascinating to hear people describe things as the Ferrari of something. Goes to show the brand power of the company despite of arguably more luxurious and faster cars like Bugatti and Pagani Koenigsegg etc
It’s way too expensive.. can’t afford it and neither can anyone who isn’t in the top 1% .. not with world economy as it is right now. Not when rent equates to 65-70% of my paychecks
@@ChristopherDunhilllol no 0.1% would be 7 million people. I am sure there are more than that can afford this. I don’t have crazy amounts of money but I still have managed to purchase TE products. Like I don’t need a car where I live, you can buy some Teenage engineering products for the price of a car easily.
You also pay for low number of units sold, meaning dev costs and production investments are spread over less units. Basically you are buying art, that is a functional product.
@@Barrrt yeah this is similar to things like fancy oscilloscopes where the dev costs are high and the number bought is low. There must be an interesting dance though where lower price leads to more purchases. Finding the optimal price point I suppose isn't necessarily easy
There's a cool podcast on their process on how they achieved the affordable KO-33 II@@ratchet600 . It's called 'how teenage engineering makes cool stuff'. Will link in next comment but not sure if that will be visible (please let me know if it is). In general I regret how mainstream consumers scoff at their prices or somehow make it TE's responsibility to make stuff they can afford - TE is in it for the passion and for making ultra cool stuff, and the reality is that if someone wants something affordable they can go to any competitor of TE. But then you get the 50$ sony recorder :P IMO we need companies like TE to blaze trails so that the more conventional companies can follow suit. They are heroes to me (as a designer / enthousiast)
I hate that I love Teenage Engineering's products
I see these as great collectibles in 10 to 20 years.
1200 dollars. Dang. Does it cure my depression? I love that joke. So good.
Excatly, for $1200 I'll take one but only if it makes me a morning coffee and tucks me in my bed at night lol
It's 1500$😢
The price is what CAUSES your depression 😂😢😂😢😂
It makes a DJ scratch noise and the headphone adapter pops out!? And you can put it on a desk!? Wow that truly is “incredible”…
yeah this review felt underwhelming...
😂

the super portable quality is amazing and the TX-6 and OB-4 combo is simply incredible for on the go recording mixes and monitoring with no mess.

3 star rating on the app store killed me💀💀💀
"it's so good it physically hurts me" is the ferrari of bad writing in reviews
lmao. There's a sucker born every minute

Nothing is as classy as a Ferrari. Q
The Ferrari is the Koenigsegg of modern sportscars.
Items that ...make you look cool.
'The Ferrari' of digital tape recorders = pay more for owning a cOol brand and receiving less quality in the meantime
damn it. i told myself i didnt want the tp7 when it was first announced...

0.1%, I’d guess

1200, 24bit 96= not the ferrari of digital tape recorders. get a tascam
Who said Ferrari itself is perfect? It's Ferrari. Get Toyota then.
They products looks amazing but pricey
Cool
yeah I wanted one until the price urghhhh
Aghhhh i hate being poor!!!!
And you gonna stay this way if you ever buy one of those products. Waste of money.
@@leonsubbotsky6087Unless you only buy food or shelter you are literally wasting money.
To me its not desirable its just insulting. Of course there will be those that can afford to waste money I guess its aimed at them.
I'd love to see how much it cost to make. Paying for build quality is fine but im struggling to see the $1500 price tag being justified.

And I just see how the mix of having business sense is at odds with having design sense :P
i'd buy a stolen one for half the price any day
