I just graduated High School about 3 months ago and I felt like I kinda had it all planned out until the college I was going to attend became a little too expensive for me. Now I’m at home trying to figure out what it is that I actually wanna do. I’m stuck. I’m depressed, but I’ll never give up hope. I wish everyone the best.
Gilthunder 45 just a little update from where I’m at right now: I took the time to understand what it was that I wanted to do and I decided to go to college to study psychology. It’s a lot cheaper where I’m at and so far I’m enjoying it. Starting a new job soon and I’m letting my life take the wheel from there. ♥️ whatever you do, please DO NOT GIVE UP.
I hated college for the same reason I hated high school. I just don't like classroom learning, grades, homework etc. I never really learned anything other than how to cram, pass tests and forget immediately after. I was always better at teaching myself with the occasional assistance of a private tutor ( all though not always necessary).
How has it worked out for you?? Was it better dropping out than going to college? because I'm planning on doing the same. I just can't do college anymore...
Also like in college we are supposed to have and study one particular major What if I want to learn tons of things, we are glad to have youtube and online courses , also you can always buy books I’d actually learn something instead of just focusing on getting that degree 🙄✨~
@@morningglory.213 I only have next year and I graduate, I am honestly scared and always had been and since young I've ignored the "what will I do after high school". I'm stressed, I seriously want a good high paying job but I know that I can't do college I don't want to do college, I hate class work, I hate going to class, sitting, and I most of the times I forget the next day what I've learned 😂. So idk what to do in my life once I'm done with high school and that part stresses me out a lot.
meatball sub w pepperonis same for me, it’s like university is a way for me to delay choosing what I want to do with my life. I don’t particularly want to go or to not go, because what the fuck do I do if I don’t go
@meatball sub w pepperonis Real Estate is a lifestyle not a job, it is highly dominated by many many people especially after videos like these. You need to live and breath Real Estate, at the start you should be putting in 60-70 hour work weeks to start to make a living.
By the way, "work your ass off" just means always be moving and growing. It doesn't mean always go for a 9-5 job or to cram as many hours as possible into your week. What I say is "never work hard". I know that sounds completely backwards, but, fact is, you don't want to work. Working is not what you really want to do with your life. Yoy want to find a job that is the farthest thing from work possible. For some it may be testing unreleased video games or for others it might be working 80 hours a week in construction. The point is, if you love it, it's not work. Don't ever let money conflict with what you do. Never get a job you hate to make more money.
The key is to work smart not hard. Working hard will barley keep you alive and fed for a day. But working smart will enable you to go above and beyond. And you'll gain financial freedom. There are OTHER ways to be successful than collage. And sometimes its not the most efficient way.
Teachers at my school look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I'm going into the Army instead of college. Then they say "Are you gonna go to college after?" And i say I want to go into sales when I get out and don't see a point for college and they think I'm dumb but I know I'll be making more money by the time I'm 25 selling than they're ever gonna make
Dylan Hale those teachers are retarded only reason I don’t like the army is that I gotta move away Other than that, the benefits of the army is amazing
Dylan Hale one of my biggest regrets was not joining the military. I had the same issue a counselor discouraged me from going and said I’d find more success going to college (which was a fucking lie) now I’m self employed but regardless high schools keep pushing students to go to college instead of teaching or preparing them for the real world. They make it seem like college is the key to solve all your problems.
@@Westcoast10 RIGHT! I'm 26 right now, about to drop from college once this semester ends. I recently started in car sales and I'm too busy for school, plus I realized how successful I can be if I hustle. So I'm looking into getting into being a real estate agent and do car sales. My high school pushed 4yr university and that's it. I'm nearly 27 and finally facing my fear of "giving up college".
@@katieghoul0092 I’m confident you’ll be successful, as long as you hustle and stay consistent you will succeed. I was working retail up until age 23, it took a couple years after that but I was able to find success working for myself doing e-commerce. I was even able to buy my own home earlier this year thanks to it. Good luck I’m wishing you all the best!
If you go to college, you hustle after graduating while all your peers who didn’t go to scam school have a bigger advantage over you in terms of life skills😂
Reality is your personality and work ethic and ability to handle stress mean more than a degree. We are really on the verge of an education bubble pop.
When you say education bubble pop do you mean you think people will simply lose interest in going to college? If people don't go to college what would be their differentiating factor in the work force?
Bro Cooking With Jay everyone has an interest in learning and doing more with their life. Just like when the housing bubble popped it wasn’t like people said “I don’t want to own homes” it was more about people not being able to pay on those loans so a similar thing will happen with college. I think we’re already seeing a downturn in college and people leave college to go work service industries and are gaining technical skills
Current 19 year old who's finishing his first year of college (planning to drop out). I've been making connections with marketing. I am self taught and just now got a job offer making 60k a year while keeping me 25k a year entry job. Keep teaching yourself what you're interested and continue to make connections with people related to that field.
Gerard Antonucci Self teaching yourself is the best alternative way for success without being in a university. In short, one should take online courses to learn a thing about marketing or any field that interests you.
Ah man, I wish I had seen this sooner. I have struggled for years because every single person around me told me I had to get some degree. But I swear, school was always and is still killing every bit of my happiness and creativity. It just makes me feel dead. I tried again last year to get a degree from home, but in the end I decided to just do it on my own.
Hey I know this comment is really old liek year ago, but I need someone to talk to and I find your comment is interest me, would you like to talk to me ?
Same I feel you tried going for law enforcement for 1 year and didn't pass so then know I went for another year for hvac and didn't pass either so I decided to drop out and know I just decided to work a regular job and hussle 🥲
If you look at schools from 100 years ago, nothing changed, still someone standing in the front of the room telling you what to do, no adaptation for the modern world, in fact school was mainly used for preparation for factory working, the number one country leading the education system is Finland, and they don’t have homework, just think about that
I’m a 20 year old who dropped out of college because I couldn’t afford to go school anymore, Best decision I could have ever made. Make sure to do research on what “job” it is you want to do for the rest of your life, Majority of the time employers don’t give 2 shits on your degree, they only care about your experience. Don’t spend your time and money if there’s another path to your destination that’s better.
CaliSupremeCat I was going to school for film, which in that line of work degrees are literally nothing and portfolio and Reel is everything. With that being said I found a job making 40k a year, got my self into a internship with an organization that does film work, and I do freelance on the side. I make probably 10k a year on freelance work but to be honest with you I don’t put in much time and effort as I should on my free lance work.
Glad you figured out what you wanted to pursue without a degree. I wanted to go to college and get into a stem field but shit's too expensive so my only options are to do manual labor work or become a salesman.
This is my story too! I'm now working in a job that is allowing me to learn the trade I want to be in (robotics and automation). Eventually I will "retire" and have my own company in the industry! 😁
I’m 15 but at this moment I don’t want to go to college anymore due to the fact that as long as I financially sustain myself, pay my bills, have extra money if needed, and don’t stress too much on my work I’ll be happy with my life. I noticed I don’t need to be rich to enjoy my life. On the other hand I want to have more than 1 way to get multiple income without stress
I always felt gary’s passion from his content videos but This video i can feel that the teacher cared enough about his students to take his time to tweet him, wait for calls from gary. We need more people like him
My parents are forcing me into college I’m just trying to convince them it’s not worth the $100k debt just to learn exactly what I learned in high school plus 1 major
This resonated with me so hard. I had this conversation with my parents yesterday and they keep trying to push it PS: I'm African so pushing it literally means PUSHING IT!! Do what your mind tells you to, trust your gut Mine says no college so no one changes that MY HAPPINESS FIRST!
Bruh i Dont Want to Go To School in The First Place id Wanna Make Connections with Successful People and connect With them and also i'd buy and Read Some Books during the Day to Educate myself etc.
There is so much you can do ! You do not need college! Unless you really wanna be a doctor or lawyer! But if it is only for the money. You can make money many different ways.
Went to college straight out of hs. Failed. Worked at a smoke shop for a year, was depressed. Joined the military, served my time and realized college is actually good and I’m here working but also building my side hustle/passion. One advice I would give to anyone from this: MAKE CONNECTIONS AND HAVE FUN YOURE YOUNG!!!
As soon as you offered to pay for the bus for all the students to come along and hang with you, booking tears came to my eyes Gary. That is such a lovely gesture, thank you so much for the value that you bring and keep up the good work Gary! -joon21
I absolutely love this! First off, I wish I would have had this teacher. Reynolds has been absolutely amazing for telling his students they don't HAVE to go to college. Every teacher I had in school raved on about going to college. Gary I love how you are willing to get them there to talk to all of them. This is what millenials need more of! Enough preaching college and making it an expectation! You go Gary and Reynolds!
I feel like the people around me is pushing me to finish this degree just to have a peace of paper to make more money. I don't know what I really want to do far as a major. I hate school with a passion. I love entrepreneurship though.
Wow love this! “You are what you create” like honestly! Put in the hard work, hustle, know that it’s going to be hard but just do it. Do what know you are capable of. Like you can do anything and most high schoolers just go to school for the grades and then go home, play X-Box and what ever but people really need to put in the hard work and do anything of they really want to do something bad enough. Of courses it’s going to be brutal if you don’t go to college. Every one know that. College would be not easier bc there is no easy way but it would help you get through the most hardest Shit of your life.
Im 26 years old and I teach business at a college in Honolulu, HI. Related to this video and found this so valuable on so many levels. ALL ABOUT WORK. YES!
Some colleges cost a lot and you still don't learn enough to get a job, even if they didn't want previous experience. Earn skills, not piece of paper that doesn't mean shit if can't guarantee you any job in the industry. Bootcamps, certificates, internships do that.
Figure out what you WANT to do and WORK HARD AT IT... day in and day out. It's as simple as that. If what you're doing isn't worth eating shit for, then your stakes aren't high enough!
I graduated in May of 2022. Right now I’m taking college classes and something doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t see a purpose for what I’m doing. Other hand I’m working part summer time for my City and I love working there. But I’m only summer help. I love learning new things and working for something that I can have self gratification for. I can’t stare at a computer screen and see that self gratification
Thats how I was when I was young. I had to get out there and do things. Couldn't sit behind a computer all day! Sounds like you have drive...you will be fine.
Basically starting college and so far I’m just not feeling it but I tried and I just started but after 2 years I will probably see afterwards. I really like horses and if I new that I could have not done college. All I want to live in a small rural area near a town and just relax my mind.
I think people should value doing their dream job, having a great time doing so and meeting great and happy / positive people who grow along with the one person, and that idea the one person has grows into a massive group of people with the same idea, and that idea then eventually grows into a mega / multi billion dollar business, which is what nearly all business should value (and I know some do), over the businesses employees only thinking about becoming wealthy and becoming wealthy only. Also, some workers think daily about becoming wealthy, (which is not a problem), but can be if they are constantly thinking of it 24/7, and that can stress out workers a lot, and make them become extremely stressed, which is not good at all. I think all business big and small should value having a great time working as a massive or small group, creating ideas that grow into something bigger, and having a great time doing so, over becoming wealthy and only becoming wealthy.
This is why I am scared to tell my parents I don't have the desire to go to college I just can't do it, if I can't handle it in high school I don't think me going and trying to motivate me to doing college will work either 😂 I need to be active and creative, I don't want to waste my time learning nothing in a classroom, depressed and in debt, College isn't for me and I know it deep down but I am confused of what to do after I graduate next year I'm honestly scared because I have no one else to admire and no guidance to know either it's so stressful
@@pursuitsoflife.6119 that's the way it goes if you work in life like the basic people, you know? like if you just go work for some company ur life gon be working all your life, but if you have a real dream like the only thing you really want in life and you do that then your life wont feel like ur hustling and working all day but it'll feel like ur just enjoying your time but obviously you need to do something with an icome if you want to be balling later.
After high school just get into an apprenticeship program and learn a trade. Or just work after high school save some money and start a small business.
amanda google works great! A trade school is pretty much a place where you go learn a specific skill. Wielders, electricians, and other things. The careers usually pay well but it’s not for everyone.
My biggest fear right now is that I am 27 now but where will I be in the next 20-30 years if all this "hustle and work hard" thing doesn't work out. I've been struggling for the last two years thinking that going to university is the best option in my case but I just don't want to but again, I am very afraid of being 50-60 and miserable for the decision I am making now.
I hate how my mom is telling me to go to college and my grandparents tell me to go to college but the only one in my family that actually seems happy with where he is at the current moment is my dad who didn’t go to college. I wish I could just leave with no responsibilities and just surf maybe work here and there at a golf course that I’m working at. Life seems so pressured to go to college and fuck man why can’t I just cruise and see what happens. My moms side is like go to college!!! I know I won’t be happy. Life is fucked man.
Sir Jaquan Jason tbh probably a 5 I don’t have someone to really be happy with other than my 2 homies that I surf with. When I’m with them and out there I’m like an 8 or 9 like nothing could bring my mood down. I don’t have a girlfriend to hang out with and now I’m working so much I feel like I can’t really spend time with friends anymore. Idk I don’t think I’m depressed but this is some of the only times I’ve actually expressed how I felt about it to anyone.
Hes right about no one cares and you need work hard but he’s missing that some people will shun you and shit on you if you don’t do what they think is right, like going to college I got shunned for dropping out of college even though I was making a decent amount of money. Continually working and growing my income sources.
I personally think we should go to college if you have the money and know what your passion is, that way you can meet other people who have the same passion and can build together and find connections that can open doors for opportunities to come in
Exactly like I have the money to go to college I just don't feel like it why would I put myself through something I hate from the beginning just to do it over again or to make my parents proud fuck that and fuck college
Honestly , college is just so subjective , to some it may be the best , for others it’s the worse There’s also exceptions , like you need a medical degree if you want to be a surgeon or anything that’s actually so important with so little margin of error
I had a friend with very big aspirations, but he is still in college. Every day, he is so busy that he can't even make time to talk to me. Instead of seeing him even getting closer to achieving his dreams, I instead see him getting closer to working a 9-5 job. That choice isn't inherently bad and all, but I'm honestly a bit disappointed with the benefits of college. I made it my mission, as a high schooler who almost graduated, to not take his steps.
@@chocomilkfox Check out videos by Ethan Becker, which should also lead you to others in or around the animation industry. They talk a lot about improving your art, portfolio, etc. outside of studios, classes, etc. and how to get places with no degree.
I’m 19, and this just suddenly popped in my mind today. Before I wanted to go to college to take Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Engineering. But as much as I enjoy these courses, I’m not sure I want to make a career out of them. So why go to college then? All I would get is huge debt with a degree I probably wouldn’t even use. Honestly, I’d rather work a job that I enjoy to make a living, and move on from there going forward. I enjoy what I do now, and currently that is working as a grocery stocker. I make decent pay and can easily save money
It's one he did a few months ago... if you search thru his videos between on Gary Vaynerchuk channel, it was like an hour long Q & A plus he did some smaller clips here and there..

The job market shift means a lot more small business owners. Jobs are starting to become a thing of the past. Why get a degree that will maybe impress some doughebag?
It’s neither spots for me so I’m 17 in this weird position where my parents want the world for me and I’m grateful for it all, however it almost cripples me because I’ll have to give up my fake reality to drop to rock bottom and then turn around and not push them away but still work on my self. Idk it gives me a migraine because I had a plan and got told not to get a job and focus on school witch through out the plan and now I get the comment I need a job but I don’t get the time back. So it just irritates me and I would love some feedback before I graduate it’s this really silly situation that sucks. Remember if you’re going through a rough spot God loves you even when no one else does. Just go open up the Bible to a random page and just read it for yourself it helps me now and then👍
My dream is to have a creative business where I can make music and inspire people. Unfortunately I have a hard time believing in myself and I keep signing up for school for psychology because it is another thing I'm interested and could see myself doing, it just feels like I'm giving up on a dream that I never even really started, or maybe I'm just changing directions and that's okay? I don't know man, I don't have any debt so that makes it easier...I just wish I could make money making music and for that to be enough.
I hate college so much but I’ve been here for 3 years already and I’m not even half way done. I feel like I’ve been wasting my life away 😕 is it still worth it to drop out ?
College is trash, waste of your valuable time, plus think of this way, Can biology help u to get money or doing stupid essays. ITS ALL CORRUPTED. Learn a trade get some experience in something u like to work on, and make it into a legit company, its all about hustle. Im 22, I spent 1 year in college, didn’t learn anything to make money. Thank god he opened my eyes im dropping off from college.my last semester and BYE Bye. Time to be successful. Hustle Guys..👊🏻
Well if your that type of person that don’t have no motivated to take the time to study and learn on your own then in my opinion, I highly suggest that u go to college so that u get help, u have network, and make connection.
Man. It’s weird but cathartic to be told no one gives a fuck about me. Everyone says they do, but the actions don’t match. The reality is I’m on my fucking own and I make or break myself.

I’m not ready for your permission. I’m getting it. I’m doing it on IG. I’m grinding and pushing with my content. I trust in your advise and hustle. I know it will help me on my path.
I want to go to college but I don't what to take. I mainly want to go for the experience. I've been looking into entrepreneurship, policing and photography. Any tips?
I need some help here... I’m a fairly smart student in highschool taking all honors and AP classes, currently a sophomore (15 turning 16 years old this year). Schools about to end in a month and I have 2 AP exams going on. All the stress is on me right now and it’s forcing me to take a look at everything around me. Do I really want to go to college? I don’t have a goal and I have absolutely no clue what to do if I were to finish college. I do however have other interests outside of academics and college. I’m interested in streaming video games, cooking, trading etc. My parents say it’s a waste if I don’t go to college because of how smart I am and to an extent I agree but wtf am I going to do other than stressing myself for another 6-8 years, accumulating college debt, and most importantly wasting time. I’m so close to the real world and I’m worried about fucking myself over. I just don’t want to be working a 9-5 job for the rest of my life but I might have to if I don’t come up with a choice soon. I don’t have many interests too, what if they don’t work out? Will I just work in McDonald’s or something for the rest of my life? It’s 3 AM, I feel like I’m in a shitload of shit rn, just letting my thoughts out.
SendNuke dude I’m 18 and I kid you not I don’t know what the fuck I want to do. I graduated high school. My family says I’m smart. All I want to do is surf. I also enjoy cooking but I’m in the same boat as in not wanting to go to school. I just went to school for 12 years and I never wanted to. Why would my family think that I know what to do in my life. I literally don’t know man. I just fucking hate how pressuring it is. Like how in the flying fuck would I know what I want to do for the rest of my life or the next 15 years. I hate school I hate everything about the system but I love surfing with friends and enjoying the real world. I don’t want to sit in a cubicle from 9-5. I want to surf but fuck you cant make money for shit. I feel like everything that I enjoy doing has no benefit to the real world. Idk man I’m in the same boat as you and wish shit was easier.
Ian Hopp what you can do is take a gap year, get a part time/full time job and use all the extra time to explore any slight interests you might have that could possibly financially support you in the future. Don’t use the gap year to fuck around with your friends the whole time, be productive and creative. Hey maybe you can start a TH-cam channel or something. Also reminder, hobbies and jobs are 2 different things, I don’t know if you can earn enough from surfing. If you don’t wanna go to school, then don’t go because you’re only going to waste your time there. Education takes commitment to do, and if you don’t enjoy it then why do it? Sure you MIGHT get the major but after you get that job you’ll feel miserable because that isn’t what you wanted. You might not even use the major after wasting 4-6 years completing it. Then again you have to take a grasp at reality and realize that you may have no choice to financially sustain yourself in the future. So take GAP YEAR/YEARS, however long you may need but be realistic to yourself.
i don't really understand . i do not want to be completely drained out & just work 24/7 & i do not want to go to college . he talks about not being a burn out, especially starting at a young age . i truly do not know what to do because i do not want to ware myself out because i have tried doing that & i just feel into a deeper depression .
I got in to Cornell University, but now I’m thinking that I do not want to go. If I attend, I must pay up to $70,000 a year including rent and tuition. Is it worth it? That’s $280,000. People have fallen into the illusion that you need to go to college and that if you go to an Ivy League school you will be set for the rest of your life, but they don’t understand how to work hard or the expense of college. They are just used to their parents paying for everything. I went to a prep highschool under a wrestling scholarship and basically the entire class never worked a real job, or if they do, they work 2 hours a day for little ice cream shop in their town. Last summer, I balanced 2 part time jobs, one landscaping and the other at a pizzeria, sometimes I would even end up working both on the same day. I have the work ethic to accomplish anything and I know what I want to do. I am going to open a gym and train people. Right now I have a job working banquets at a country club and I will be making $33,000 minimum a year. After 4 years, while everyone else is at college and in debt, I will have at least $120,000. The gym will cost no more than $100,000, so after that, I will maintain a growing revenue with the gym and continue working at the country club, increasing in my position. I am willing to do this. I don’t want to sit in a classroom and stress about my education for the next 4+ years. What do you think? Is this sustainable?
I'm 20 years old and I been to my community college for almost 2 years and I really want to tell my mom I don't want to do college anymore because it just stresses me out and my anxiety goes with so much work being pilled up and up and it's worse that I have severe depression I been really thinking about dropping out of college so I could just work and make my own money i also want to move in with my gf she's in dallas and she already has a job and so I want to be with her while working together and just making money together I just don't know how to tell my mother about how I feel any thoughts and suggestions???
Skiellarr Wilson My dude I’m 19 and the thought of college with loads of work with stress and anxiety building up kills me lol. College isn’t for me at all so if you think making your own money with your girl is the path you chose go for it.
Skiellarr Wilson this is a month late my friend, but I want to respond because your story is VERY similar to mine. I went to community college and one semester in university, after which I dropped out. It just wasn’t for me. I’ve never been book smart, I was never a great student, I have ADHD and had depression and anxiety, I had to call it quits. If you know your alternatives, then you can drop out. It could be an issue since many people don’t even know why they go to college and just go because their high school told them to go. Once I finally went I realize that I was just wasting time and money. Do what you think is best my friend. Cheers
Skiellarr Wilson good luck friend, make sure you know your alternatives. The decision for me made my life better since I was just miserable in college. I feel so much better now! Cheers! 😄✌🏻
The problem is you can’t do something’s without a degree and if you don’t want to go to college but want to be something like a doctor your basically fucked because u need a degree to do that and if you don’t want to go to college then you can’t be a doctor it’s fucked up bro

@meatball sub w pepperonis Get a job ????
meatball sub w pepperonis same bro
Quantum Leap thank you for this message:) helps a lot
@Octopod you gotta try making money off both however if you're serious I don't think that's a very productive lifestyle if you're doing it ALL day
Spittin
The key is to work smart not hard. Working hard will barley keep you alive and fed for a day. But working smart will enable you to go above and beyond. And you'll gain financial freedom. There are OTHER ways to be successful than collage. And sometimes its not the most efficient way.
Exactly! Don't work to make ends meet. Rather. Explore for free.
My highschool pushed college so hard. Like I never heard from the kids who had other plans.
Teachers at my school look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I'm going into the Army instead of college. Then they say "Are you gonna go to college after?" And i say I want to go into sales when I get out and don't see a point for college and they think I'm dumb but I know I'll be making more money by the time I'm 25 selling than they're ever gonna make
Dylan Hale those teachers are retarded only reason I don’t like the army is that I gotta move away
Other than that, the benefits of the army is amazing
I was even able to buy my own home earlier this year thanks to it. Good luck I’m wishing you all the best!
If you don't want to go to college, you *hustle!* 💯
Hustling is part of the equation, regardless of whether you go to college or not. Either you hustle or you starve.
You went to college, you hustle !
you hustle everywhere, it's a mechanism that everything requires
Alec Lifestyle you damn right
If you go to college, you hustle after graduating while all your peers who didn’t go to scam school have a bigger advantage over you in terms of life skills😂

Since you replied to me on here I have to say I definitely watched you at like 10k subs. Pretty crazy how far your channel has come. Keep going!
Ohhh, you're talking about the student loan bubble. Yeah that's the next one.

What's the updates now?
If you look at schools from 100 years ago, nothing changed, still someone standing in the front of the room telling you what to do, no adaptation for the modern world, in fact school was mainly used for preparation for factory working, the number one country leading the education system is Finland, and they don’t have homework, just think about that

I want to learn, not study. And that’s one of the main problems I have with school right now
I’m a 20 year old who dropped out of college because I couldn’t afford to go school anymore, Best decision I could have ever made. Make sure to do research on what “job” it is you want to do for the rest of your life, Majority of the time employers don’t give 2 shits on your degree, they only care about your experience. Don’t spend your time and money if there’s another path to your destination that’s better.
If you don’t mind me asking what path did you end up taking and roughly how much do you make a year?
CaliSupremeCat I was going to school for film, which in that line of work degrees are literally nothing and portfolio and Reel is everything. With that being said I found a job making 40k a year, got my self into a internship with an organization that does film work, and I do freelance on the side. I make probably 10k a year on freelance work but to be honest with you I don’t put in much time and effort as I should on my free lance work.
Glad you figured out what you wanted to pursue without a degree. I wanted to go to college and get into a stem field but shit's too expensive so my only options are to do manual labor work or become a salesman.
Reeaz Ali learn a trade like plumbing or electrical these jobs are paying 60k a year
This is my story too!

What about military
Police academy, firefighter, trade school etc

Every teacher I had in school raved on about going to college. Gary I love how you are willing to get them there to talk to all of them. This is what millenials need more of! Enough preaching college and making it an expectation! You go Gary and Reynolds!

As someone who doesn’t want to attend College I’ve pressured lately by one of my parents and I can definitely agree on this 👍🙏
Ahhh I remember this guy, it was a nice touch by Gary to speak to his students
I am in college now, and I feeling depressed and a lack of motivation.

Hello, whats a trade school? Can u explain pls??
amanda google works great! A trade school is pretty much a place where you go learn a specific skill. Wielders, electricians, and other things. The careers usually pay well but it’s not for everyone.
Trade schools are a waste of time. Better off going directly into an apprenticeship on the job

I wish someone told me this at a young age. Now I’ll do my part by telling other young people
Honestly , college is just so subjective , to some it may be the best , for others it’s the worse
There’s also exceptions , like you need a medical degree if you want to be a surgeon or anything that’s actually so important with so little margin of error
You can also hustle and go to uni. Though im studying im already working a lot, because you can't just rely on your degree.

Same bro I feel u 😔
Gonna have to edit this down for the class.
Community college is superior

Gary and the professor are 🐐 for this one.

Cozy thank you dude ! And I totally agree it’s a lot stress on me that I shouldn’t be stressing about
Skiellarr Wilson this is a month late my friend, but I want to respond because your story is VERY similar to mine. Cheers
Bob Muller thank you so much for this comment and I’m following my gut with dropping out from college
Skiellarr Wilson good luck friend, make sure you know your alternatives. The decision for me made my life better since I was just miserable in college. I feel so much better now! Cheers! 😄✌🏻
