@ProjectFarm Hi, could you test different types of shower heads/hose, 🚿 high, low pressure, quality, etc. It seems that we have plenty on the market and all do wonderful things, according to the manufacturers.
At this point sir, I'm more impressed by how you come up with ways to properly test these things more than the outcome of the tests. Thankyou for your work
I like the reviews, thoughtful and entertaining. I am a recently retired 45+ year mechanic. My favorite creeper substitute/replacement is a trusty piece of Cardboard. Benefits include: Super low ground clearance, doesn't have wheels to get stopped by small pieces of gravel (it absorbs them) fresh cardboard is easy to slide on, insulates cold ground and FREE
my dad uses a cut out of old carpet when he has to work on his car or bike because he can rest is knees on it and its not as bad as it would be on the solid concrete garage floor
I was raised in a shop cleaning up after the mechanics starting at 10 years old. All the creepers were plywood and built like a brick shithouse. Used to play on them till my dad caught me. But I was only doing what I saw the mechanics were doing when my dad was gone. lol
I was actually looking for a creeper for my garage!!........Sometimes it seems like Project Farm is spying on me. Do you have a camera in my kitchen???....Thanks again for a quality and informative video. You make the price of a membership absolutely worth every penny!!
I just bought the Harbor Freight creeper last week on sale for $25, so good to see it did well. It will be an even better deal in the first week of March when it will be less than $20.
His camera isn't in your kitchen it's just outside of it so he can track 2 rooms with 1 camera and the pasta you made the other night looked really good
Been on TH-cam since 2015, regularly watch videos of all sorts and you're the first guy I decided to support, that should say a lot about how good your videos are. It really is a pain in the ass scrolling through all these unstructured biased reviews. Keep up the good work!
@ProjectFarm I don't know where to leave a video suggestion, so ill leave it hear. I think you should compare bread toasters... the last two I've bought suck. Thanks for all your hard work 💪🏾 love your channel!
Test food containers! I was over at a friend's house for dinner, and they saved leftovers in a container that you can vacuum out air! Would that give you an extra day to prevent spoilage? You could test air tightness, durability through 10 dishwasher cycles, cost, weight, smell test after 3 days, can you measure bacteria growth easily? Baseline = plate of food in fridge with no covering or maybe saran wrap? @@ProjectFarm
@@pfoxhound I have iGaging Absolute Origin ones and I am very happy with them, a little spendy at ~$50 but they work great and I compared them to a Mitutoyo at work and they worked just the same
My son bought me red Harbor Freight creeper a few years ago for Christmas. I’m getting old and don’t get around real good anymore. It helps me to check fluid levels on my old Dodge Cummins 4x4. My son did good. Thank you PF for another outstanding review video!
@@Hawk7886 Yes I do. I check the manual transmission, transfer case, front and rear differentials while on the creeper. I’m an old disabled dude now. Didn’t used to be, but that’s life.
I have CAT mats and theyre fine, im an automotive tech so I see all of the mats and honestly, theyre all the same, as long as you cut them correctly or get the right size so they dont impede your pedals (I see that often) then they are all just rubber. weathertech os obviously the best as they are formed for the vehicle, however I cant justify the price
@Carterthielftw_ you are right, weather Tech false advertising I.M.O. they say any vehicle, not so. Nothing for 95 7.3, nothing for my 04 outback. my daughter had them in her vehicle, and the sides were all warped, smashed out shape, folded over.
Like many others, I never miss a new PF video. Even if it's a review of a product I'll never use, I still watch the entire review to the end. Todd, your thoroughness, enthusiasm, truthfulness, humor and engaging presentation is addictive. Very impressive. Thanks for providing the best review channel on YT.
Great video! As a mechanic that is over 6' and over 300lbs I have a dog bone (bonester) creeper I've had it for several years only having to replace the wheels. It's been the best creeper that I have used for a low profile plastic creeper
This is very a informative video for those looking for a new creeper. I've had my Snap On creeper for over 30 years, long before any of these were available, and it is still like new, but dirty. Snap On has replaced the wheels replaced at no cost even when it was run over. New it was under $100. More often than not, you get what you pay for.
Just so you know I don’t buy anything unless you review it. My wife asks me prior to any big purchase if you’ve reviewed it yet. 😂 You are a staple in my video life. Keep doing what you do. 👌👌👌
Another very good review! When my Lisle Jeepers Creepers, made in the USA, wears out I will review again. So far, it has performed very well for me - at 275" and currently 230#. The cost was $88 in June 2023. It does not have a tool caddy which I miss. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR REVIEWS.
I threw my creepers away and use my wife's old Yoga Mats. Roll t😂hem up; add 2 lbs. to your emergency kit. No fuss, adds at least 3" extra working height, and your back stays dry.
"Softer than a Motel 6 mattress"! LOVE IT! My biggest problem is using a creeper on packed gravel. Yeah, I know - we need a shop with a floor...🤣 Great video!👍👍
I remember my dad picked up a random creeper that the Snap-On truck ran over on the highway. It was called "The Bone" had 5" or 6" wheels recessed on the corners. It was amazing, it would roll in the gravel even. Real handy working on semis and farm equipment. Had it 16 years before he shut the doors professionally but he still uses it at home
I have one of these myself, was hoping it was in his lineup to see how it stacked up to conventional creepers. Great creeper in my opinion, and almost indestructible. I've abused it for 12 years so far with no signs of stopping.
That thing looks great. I've never seen a creeper with wheels that good. Unfortunately, it looks like it's been discontinued. I guess people don't want to pay the price for good products.
Omega bought the bone creeper and covid evidently shut them down but supposedly they are bringing it back. I have the bonester and the standard and love them both
Retired Snapon franchise owner of 35 years here. One advantage of the Snapon for a professional technician who uses a creeper daily is that the casters carry a lifetime warranty. At least they did three years ago when I retired. I replaced probably over one thousand in my time with Snapon. Techs are notoriously hard on their tools and equipment! Love the channel!
But, at $300, you could have bought a lot of nicer casters for the other creepers. The casters on all of the creepers tested were very cheep casters. Where I work we use castors that hold thousands of pounds and they still wouldn't cost $300. I just can't see the point in buying a snap on creeper for $300 when there is less than $40 worth of material. Are we saying that it takes $260 worth of labor to make it? Snap-on must have a huge overhead.
@@dustinroberson1865Don’t forget about Matco. Their tools are grossly overpriced just like snap-on. I simply refuse to pay those prices. It’s highway robbery.
I've had my Pittsburgh for years now, and it has saved me on numerous occasions. If I used it more often, I would splurge on the Daytona, but I just don't get under the car that often anymore. Fantastic roundup, as usual! Thank you Sir!
Timestamp 2:27 Audio is describing one creeper but the video is showing another. I do watch the channel alot and this is probably the first time I have ever seen an editing error. I do appreciate your work and hope you don't take this as a "haters comment"
Hey Todd, we really appreciate you reviewing products you will never need. Us mere mortals don't have the ability to lift cars with our bare hands like you. So we appreciate you reviewing stuff we have to use.
have you done reviews on multi meters? would love to see your testing with em as i love your unbiased approach to things. much love your content and reviews, cant wait to see the next one.
Leave all the brands outside in the rain and snow see what still works drop test. Them as well i myself work with meters everyday outside fluke holds up the best as well as they are accurate they are the pros number 1
Thanks i have been using a fluke for years, but i felt a bit meh cause there steep price and there no longer built in USA anymore, was worried they done changes with em on recent new models. im gonna stick with Fluke till then.
I am very glad I watched this! The Daytona was on sale and I almost bought it! Definitely will just go with the Pittsburg! Thank you! I do wish the Icon would have been tested! I would really like to see Icon and Snap-On tools tested head to head. You do very great work! I know God blesses your integrity!
I greatly appreciate the fact you don’t let sponsorship enter the review arena. Makes me trust the results. I never believe the “this is sponsored, but they can’t dictate what’s in the review” disclaimer. Not a chance that getting it for free wouldn’t alter the perception.
The quality of your videos is outstanding, as always. I just broke the transmission chain on my gas powered 7 hp soil tiller, and I thought I should write a comment here, maybe It could be an idea for a future video.
@projectfarm I have a few video testing ideas. 1. Truck tires, which o es are best for wear resistance, traction. And then traction in bad conditions, wet dry loose dirt etc. 2. Flashlights, small edc flashlights would be a great testing video. Testing Lumans vs claims, durability, battery life etc. 3. Car headlight bulbs: This would make a great video, testing beam pattern lumans, throw, and light colors.
I just love the fast narration. Most of the products I will not even think about buying. But still that voice and the videos are informative in general!
I have the Pittsburgh rolling bed since 1996. It is still going well and never failed me. Glad your test confirmed my choice. Thank you for a great rest video.
Perfect timing for this review! HF just put a coupon up for the Pittsburgh creeper bringing it down to $25, making it an absolute no brainer imo. I grabbed it yesterday and this solidified for me that it's a great choice.
Love this, just bought a Pittsburgh creeper based on your recommendation (and I'm a pretty light dude, so I don't think I'll need anything heavy duty). For upcoming videos, I'd love to see ones on puncture resistant insoles and OBDII scan tools.
I take your content as gold. Recently been having issues with Central Pneumatic die grinders at work (machinist). I’d love a die grinder episode. CN, ingersoll, Matco, snap on, etc. who’s best?? Best bearings? Torture test? Torque test? Best for getting in small spaces? Thanks Project Farm for all you do for us tradesmen and home craftsmen alike. God Bless
I used the 90* and straight CN 1/4” air grinders. Both lasted more or less 9mos (metal fabrication). Not daily use, but we did quite a bit of weld grinding and polishing for sanitary conveyor systems. After blowing out bearing for the second time on both, I replaced them with Ingersoll. I used them for 4yrs with no issues until the shop had to close its doors I’ll be honest, I didn’t oil the CN before use like I should, but DID oil the Ingersoll before use (2-3 drops). So take that for what it’s worth I would love to see him do a review though
Just purchased the Pittsburg for $25 (on sale) from Harbor Freight. Assembled Thank you for all your hard work! As always your videos made my decision easier
I love your content and testing. Have been a mechanic for 30+ years I have used a lot of creepers. The best one I have found is the “bone-ster”. It is plastic, has 4 wheels, made in USA, and excellent build quality
Love the channel, keep on keepin on. My favorite creeper is a nice big slick piece of cardboard. Preferably a box that is flattened that can be folded along a crease so the dirt and rust can be collected easily and just dumped into trash can. Pair it with a piece of old carpet, drag all your tools and parts under or out from under the vehicle in one move. Im sure creepers have their place, but the ability to slide and ROLL OVER on cardboard, plus the additional clearance just cant be beat. Stay gold.
You are an absolute beast! Thank you so much! Trying to figure which one is best for me and was very confuse in deciding but you made my decision to purchase so much easier, thank you sooo much! You are the GOAT!
I have the plastic Pittsburgh creeper. I agree with your results. I have had several others over the years as well. I appreciate your unbiased reviews as you are unsponsored. That says alot about your character friend!
I have the grey Pittsburgh creeper from Harbor Freight. I only need it to do oil changes anymore, but it’s been reliable and a lot more comfortable than laying on a piece of cardboard. There were a bunch of reports where the wheels broke through the plastic, but I stand at 5’-11” and weigh 225 and have had no issues or problems rolling over the seams and cracks on my garage floor. Any of these newer style creepers are far and away better than the old wooden ones that used the angled steel swivel wheels. Great video!
Todd you’re too underrated. But people are catching up. Awesome to see you at 3 mil subs. I remember when you were sub 1 mil. Can’t wait for the 10 mil milestone. Thanks for your amazing informative well tested and humorous content. That cinder block comment made me laugh for hours.
When can we hear…”Best Oil Filters?”…”We’re gonna test that!” I understand this is going to be challenging and will test your ingenuity, but know all your supporters will be shouting..”Very Impressive” as well as thanks a million! Love this channel, entertaining and saves me money!
I always watch all your videos. On this one, I still use my old wooden creeper with the steel wheels and the small foam headrest. Been using it for about 45 years. If I have to work under the car outside of the garage in gravel or dirt. I have a couple small silver tarps from Harbor Freight. Good video, didn’t realize there were that many creepers out there. 👍
I have a harbor freight one, I drilled a few holes in it and filled it with spray foam. Its been 2 + years now and has not failed. I use it almost everyday.
Great video again! I have a "Pro-Lift" 2 in one metal frame, Z shape seat/creeper, 300 lb capacity. And I use a dense foam snow sled with 4 side handles . too
It seems all too often, that before I see your reviews, I end up buying the product. I don't know if I am lucky or not, but usually, about 70% of the time, I make good purchases ... and get in line with your reviews. I needed a creeper recently, and bought the Pittsburgh ... have been very happy with it ... the price the only reason I went with the Pittsburgh over the Daytona. Price a factor, as I probably use a creeper, once or twice a decade, and low cost makes sense, as does, plastic, so I can hang it on the wall when not using it. I still share your videos when ever I can ... one of the best review sites on YT .... I wish you reviewed hand guns and rifles.
Even when I have no interest in the products being tested, I watch because I enjoy your skills in creating relevant and visual tests (Not sure if people appreciate how hard it is to create a good test that is relevant and consistent. making it visual, entertaining and understandable for a layman is really hard). (and «the representing people shaped liked bricks comment made me laugh😂)
I love it. _People come in all different sizes and shapes. So I'll go ahead and places an eight inch cinder block […] to represent a person shaped like a cinder block._
Todd, great review as always! Can you consider testing rechargable head lamps? When working on or under almost anything; they are indispensable. Let’s see a test on a few!
I’ve been thinking of buying a creeper for some time now but have been so indecisive on which one to choose, this has made it so much easier! I know which one to get now
With the warmer months about to creep in, it would be amazing to see you do some rigorous testing on Cooler brands. Yeti, RTIC, Lifetime, Pelican, Coleman, Igloo, Arctic Zone, and some of the house brands for Cabela's, Bass Pro, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards brands! Love all of your non-biased videos!
Another extremely helpful and thorough review. I am 6'3 and 280+ with along torso. My 20+ year old Craftsman creeper is very much like the K Tool unit and suffers from the retightening/bending casters, sit up and lift up issue, and bruises my shoulders. From your review, it looks like the Daytona may be in my near future. THANK YOU!
I started with the Pittsburg from HF. Wheels were folding under. I made my own out of some leftover wood and heavy duty casters from HD. Works very well. I shaped it using the same form I used to make curved back dining room chairs and coopered leg table from Tommy Mac's show. Still watched the video anyway. Cheers!
Really appreciate your testing methodology, as a cinder block shaped person it's good to see testing with my body shape in mind! For real though, thanks for testing as well as you do, I buy tools I don't need cause this channel does such a good job...... also more air tools please.
I did ask you to review creepers a few month back. And you delivered. Thank you. I have an omega creeper, scored one from FB market for $30 and i work outside on asphalt, it performs very well for me, it is very solid.
I'm guilty of only watching your videos that may have a direct influence on products I may or have purchased or use of those products but your channel undoubtedly provides very informative and valuable information to a very wide and diverse audience. Your testing methods are extremely well thought out and your knowledge, abilities and presentation skills really shine through, making your channel one of the best on the TH-cam platform. We all appreciate you. I look forward to many more to come. Be safe and be well.
Another great review! If YT weren't free, this channel would make it worthwhile to pay for it. I did buy the Pittsburgh creeper last year, and after a long day, my back and shoulders felt bruised for a couple days. I suspect this would be true for all the hard plastic models. After only a few uses, I had to toss it since the body broke where the wheels attach. I don't use a creeper enough to replace it, but if I did I would get the Daytona.
I love these comparisons. That being said, I bought a 9,000 lbs two post lift for just a little bit more than all of these creepers cost put together. Still gonna cost me another $1,500 to install it, but at least I won't have to lay down!
After breaking the little casters on 2 creepers, i finally spent the cash on a Bone creeper. They have 5" casters, are molded out of thick red plastic and have been fantastic. The creeper is over 10 years old and still going strong.

At this point sir, I'm more impressed by how you come up with ways to properly test these things more than the outcome of the tests. Thankyou for your work
lol Thanks
Yeah he's really evolved very quickly
I agree. Most of his product tests have some pretty inventive methods.
Thanks and you are welcome!
You forgot easy cleanup and storage
Also helps catch messes like oil and coolent!
You can also use force. Ive always hated creepers because you just move yourself if you use any force against a wrench
my dad uses a cut out of old carpet when he has to work on his car or bike because he can rest is knees on it and its not as bad as it would be on the solid concrete garage floor
I use to use scrap pieces of carpet also
That cinderblock joke is my favorite one you've ever made, Todd.
Also, using a cinderblock is a great idea for this comparison.
Thanks!
@@ProjectFarm what about creepers that are engineered for field mechanics?
Cinderblock? More cinderbloke
i needed one of these today as i spent 40 minutes not changing my fuel filter

If it ain't broke don't fix it
I was raised in a shop cleaning up after the mechanics starting at 10 years old. All the creepers were plywood and built like a brick shithouse. Used to play on them till my dad caught me. But I was only doing what I saw the mechanics were doing when my dad was gone. lol
"To represent a person shaped like a cylinder block " Underrated 😂

I was actually looking for a creeper for my garage!!........Sometimes it seems like Project Farm is spying on me. Do you have a camera in my kitchen???....Thanks again for a quality and informative video. You make the price of a membership absolutely worth every penny!!
You're welcome and thank you for supporting the channel through membership!
I always find that funny when I think of a test for him to try he makes a video of it
I just bought the Harbor Freight creeper last week on sale for $25, so good to see it did well. It will be an even better deal in the first week of March when it will be less than $20.
His camera isn't in your kitchen it's just outside of it so he can track 2 rooms with 1 camera and the pasta you made the other night looked really good
He has to test cameras somehow!!!😁

Test food containers! I was over at a friend's house for dinner, and they saved leftovers in a container that you can vacuum out air! Would that give you an extra day to prevent spoilage? You could test air tightness, durability through 10 dishwasher cycles, cost, weight, smell test after 3 days, can you measure bacteria growth easily? Thank you for the video idea!
Husky ❤
@Carterthielftw_ you are right, weather Tech false advertising I.M.O. they say any vehicle, not so. Nothing for 95 7.3, nothing for my 04 outback. my daughter had them in her vehicle, and the sides were all warped, smashed out shape, folded over.
You can't go wrong with OEM all-weather floor mats. Yeah, they're expensive, but made exactly for your car and even fasten to your floorboard.
This channel consistently tests things that you never thought about being tested. I love it.
Great video! As a mechanic that is over 6' and over 300lbs I have a dog bone (bonester) creeper I've had it for several years only having to replace the wheels. It's been the best creeper that I have used for a low profile plastic creeper
Thanks for the feedback.
Always happy to watch Todd!
Thank you and hope you enjoy the video!
Thanks for the feedback.
I would've assumed that larger casters would be better. Didn't realize they'd be harder to change direction. Thanks for the education!
Thank you for remaining to be honest and not littered with ads or selling out to a company for profits
Just so you know I don’t buy anything unless you review it. My wife asks me prior to any big purchase if you’ve reviewed it yet. 😂 You are a staple in my video life. Keep doing what you do. 👌👌👌
The go-to for TH-cam reviews! Kudos to you for staying true to the scientific process and not being bought out by sponsors like most other TH-camrs.
Thanks for the feedback.
"Softer than a Motel 6 mattress"! LOVE IT! My biggest problem is using a creeper on packed gravel. Yeah, I know - we need a shop with a floor...🤣 Great video!👍👍
I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one who greatly appreciates your service to mankind. Thank you.
Another great comparison! I have the plastic Pittsburgh and it's always been fine.
Thanks! Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for sharing.
I have one as well. Best creeper I ever bought
Omega bought the bone creeper and covid evidently shut them down but supposedly they are bringing it back. I have the bonester and the standard and love them both
A Sunday must watch 🎉.
Thank you very much!
They weren’t $300 then. I don’t think they were even $200.

One of the most useful channels on TH-cam
Torque Test Channel has your 2&3 covered.

Love to see a test on best antifreeze!!! Not seen one on TH-cam yet. Always love watching these and gives Facts.

I used them for 4yrs with no issues until the shop had to close its doors
I’ll be honest, I didn’t oil the CN before use like I should, but DID oil the Ingersoll before use (2-3 drops). So take that for what it’s worth
I would love to see him do a review though
Did you abbreviate Central Pneumatic as "CN"?
Just purchased the Pittsburg for $25 (on sale) from Harbor Freight. Assembled
Thank you for all your hard work! As always your videos made my decision easier
You are welcome! Glad to hear!
Stay gold.
Thanks, will do! Thanks for sharing.
I remember when I was poor and would make excuses too. "No I LIKE holes in my shirt, it's free air conditioning!"

Love the unbiased opinion on everything you test. One creeper I really like to use is called a bone creeper. 100% USA made.

Thanks for the feedback.
