    Plz answere me my ac vent start throwing cold air with burning coil smell at 80 speed but below 80 speed air is also cold but without smell .... air is always cold at any speed plz reply

    If the system is overcharged and burns out the clutch does that destroy the compressor too? Thank you for the informative video

    Hi, the other day it was very hot and at a traffic light I saw black smoke coming from the engine bay. Afterwards my AC stopped working. It has not worked since. Clutch gap is within spec and the compressor spins freely. From watching your video i think the coil burned. Maybe from too much pressure? I’ve read online where it says a burning smell could be from the compressor seizing and the belt slipping but my compressor spins freely when i turn it by hand. The compressor no longer engages. Car is 2015 Volvo V40 D2.
    Do you think it’s the electric coil that is faulty?

    Wht caused a new compressor and coil to fail if I put oil in it and never charged it up

      My car compressor pulley bearing and clutch coil damaged. Mechanic tell me there is a play in between compressor shaft and pulley .Any Other reasons for burning clutch coil.
