I used to buy boxes from Uline, but I switched to Grainger last year. Prices are comparable, but I don't have to pay shipping as I have a local store and just pick them up. It has saved me a lot of money.
What do you do to make tools shiny again? Picked up a few vtg Craftsman but they just need a bit of cleaning to make em nice and shiny.

For lights you can get a cheap delta, bluetti or jackery electric generator for under $200 then hook it up to a light or lamp and you get hours of light in your unit without running around anywhere...also good if your house lights go out as it'll run a few lamps etc..I have a 10x10 unit so not so much need but I'm moving to a 20x10 so it will be needed for the back and corners to see what I'm doing

Mentioning fishing poles...I just got some reels rated for 80lbs & need a couple poles. Got any idea what I should look for to know what the poles are rated for? I have fished my whole life with a couple one piece rods but 30lb catfish was my biggest haul. I really want a couple one piece poles I can put 80lb test line on.

Cost savings: if you can use newspaper that has print example: grocery store ads, or if you can't use news print a roll of butcher paper maybe cheaper.
For whatnot you can use the free priority boxes from usps .. you just can’t use the flat rate ones. That would save you a ton of money ordering plain boxes
Also if you have an ups account they also have free brown boxes that you can order.

I don’t like how the box size can trick you. I get those 4x4x48s and they measure 5x5. 😅
I also I ship a lot of delicate items and I buy my high crush rate boxes at Staples. They are usually discounted if you buy more and sometimes they have a discount on shipping supplies for 40%
I think the measurements on the boxes are the inside measurement. I use a 6x6x6 box a lot but it measures 7x7x6 after it’s put together.

I use used boxes all the time and make a Frankenstein box if it’s weird size lol!

New sub here.... have you tried American Bubble Boy for bubble wrap and other stuff? I heard about them from another Ebay/TH-cam person. My Ebay shop isn't really big enough for the big box shopping. BTW, you and my son could almost pass for twins! He's just shorter and has a shorter beard.
You mentioned the light is on a timer. I have seen you run to that switch saying "someone didn't pay the light bill" many times. One minute before you said it, I thought it must be on a timer. Probably because you were. Showing us the storage facility.

I don't know what Julian uses, but I've used heavy packing paper and cardboard.
