The black legs are spot on . . . the gold is rich . . . I love how warm the wood is! And the tassel on the key is so cool 😎 Have you decided to return to silent film? 😉
thanks 😀 Yes, silent for now, they seem to be a bit more popular, but I will do some more talkies in the future I’m sure 👍
What a great drinks cabinet! Looks great and classy 🤗
Thanks so much! 😊
Well done.
Beautiful restoration. You have done a great work 👏👏
Thank you very much!
Beautiful 😊
Many thanks!
Absolutely beautiful!! Your attention to detail is to be applauded!! The result is very chic, sexy and modern!! Makes me think of 007 and dry martinis!! I love it!!
Thank you, so pleased you like it 😀
Love it!
Thanks! 😀
Fabulous!😊
Thanks 🤗
You didn't put the pigeon holes back in!
no unfortunately not, bureau’s aren’t very popular purchases, hopefully the drinks cabinet will prove a good choice 👍
Love it, ready for some good times to be shared.
I must have missed something. This was a make-over, not a restoration. I liked it better before. Sorry.
Beautiful colors and design! Did you save the pigeon holes for a possible future project? I was sad when you took them out, but I do love the finished piece.
Thanks 😀 Yes I still have them, I’m sure I’ll find a use for them 👍
Great job though I’m not so much into the gold.
thanks glad you liked it, yes the gold might not be for everyone
Beautiful result! I loved all your choices here - such a good idea to swap from a secretary desk to a drink cabinet… Colors are great, so warm and lovely. I still think key tassels are a bit too ‘precious’, but that’s a personal nit. I’ve found if I completely saturate my hot water with oxalic acid (keep adding powder till it won’t dissolve/absorb anymore) it will work better and faster - never needed 3 coats. I really like the pieces you find for us. Keep up the great work❣️
thanks, glad you like my work 😀 I’ll take your advise and be more generous with my oxalic acid in future 👍
A did a similar piece on my channel! Great video!!
Thanks 😀I'll check it out! 👍
Really impressed by this transformation and the light coloured finish!!
