- In this heartfelt and emotional video, I share my personal journey of flying home with an "Angel" from Iraq. This story is not just about a journey across the skies, but a journey through profound emotions, respect, and honor.
Flying with an Angel, a term used for the solemn duty of accompanying a fallen soldier, is an experience that forever changes one's perspective on life, duty, and sacrifice. I recount the moments that left an indelible mark on my heart-from the initial news to the final farewell.
Join me as I reflect on the powerful emotions, the honor of paying tribute, and the deep respect for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. This video is a tribute to all the brave souls who have served and the families who stand behind them. It’s a story of loss, love, and the enduring spirit of those we call heroes.
Please like, comment, and subscribe to honor the memories of our fallen heroes and to support those who continue to serve.

Guys why do you call a soldier who has made the supreme sacrifice a fallen soldier? I do not like the word fallen..a soldier never falls..never falters...he rises above everyone else..that's the truth..
Great point. Thank you.
@@RJ_Chapman Thanks Sir. It is always people like you who silently make a difference..all the time..humanity can't thank you enough for your service Sir..please take care and stay healthy and happy..ALWAYS!
@@HC-vi9ns Thank you so much. Means a lot to me.

Grateful
Americans should grateful they have people like us to protect them from people like us
Those who serve
Only those who've had the courage to insure the freedom of strangers can truly comprehend its
meaning and appreciate its value
Honor always, those willing to sacrifice their tomorrows for your today
Those who wait
That day might be today
That day you've dreaded
That day you learn your loved one is coming home that final time
Those of us who served our country insuring the freedom of strangers in had it somewhat easier than those who wait.
We knew what was happening.
Those who wait can only watch the door and pray that today is not that day.
On Veterans and Memorial day be sure to honor those who wait.
In so many ways theirs it the greater sacrifice.
Those who returned
From those whose names are etched on the Wall
To those who made it home and now stand tall
We say to you who tried to make us feel small
FU, It was for you also we answered the call
Honor always those who did sacrifice their tomorrows for your today.
The little old man on the bench
There he sits, that little old man
Everyday he sits on the park bench, eyes closed, mumbling to himself.
Very few passersby wonder, is he well? Does he need help? No one stops to ask.
Most ignore the little old man on the bench, he is of no significance in their lives.
There was a time, so long ago, in his new uniform, he stood tall, strong, hale and hearty.
There was a time, so long ago, he laid broken on a field far, far from home
There was a time, so long ago, his brothers sacrificed to insure "no one gets left behind"
There was a time, so long ago, he lay in a hospital with other broken men waiting to go home
Today, he sits on the park bench as he does every day
Today, he does not need help, he is well, he is not talking in his sleep
Today, he pays no attention to those to whom he is of no significance
Today, he speaks the names of those who sacrificed their tomorrows so they will not be forgotten.
Tomorrow, he will not be sitting on the bench
Tomorrow, few will even notice he is not there
Tomorrow, there will be one fewer to remember the names of their fallen brothers
Tomorrow, the sacrifices of he and his brothers will be forgotten
Soon, another young man, in his new uniform, will stand tall, strong, hale and hearty.
Soon, he will lie broken on a field in a country far, far from home
Soon, others will sacrifice their tomorrows to bring him home
Soon, their sacrifices will also be forgotten
Awesome!!!
God bless you and thank you for your service to our great country.
We are in the greatest Country

100% sir
Whish more people would be listening. May God Bless You Always
Thank you. Every day more people watch this story. I never want them forgotten. It was a tough day for me but glad I brought it to the world.
Master Chief, thank you for your service. I would like to offer a thought for those who are not often spoken of. Those who must meet the family at any hour of the day, wherever they are, and deliver in person the notification that will change their lives forever. In my time, it was a senior NCO and an officer, and that duty is never forgotten. USAF/ USN ‘72-‘80.
Unsung heroes. I can't imagine giving the news. Thank you so much for your comment.
I choked up at 2:30...just about the same time you did. Well done Master Chief.

Thank you we are trying @
We had fun to. Thanks for watching!
I am for i am AAM
Not every soldier ,airman, marine,or seaman dies during a war.....i helped to bury 4 soldiers from 2 different car accidents in an 8 day period. They all were given military funeral rites. I parcipitated in all 4. One of them was my best friend. TAPS on a bugle with a flag draped ⚰ is just killer for me. 😢 This is a powerful little story.
Thank you its was sad but needs to be told
Thanks for the tale told RJ. Cheers.
Thank you it was not easy but can not ever be forgotten.
Is the bad music really necessary?
