I’m a 52 yr old immigrant woman, not knowledge what so ever in creating a TH-cam channel, or anything you teach. Today I was determined to learn. Your 17 min explanation video, took me 5 1/2 hours and I end up creating the YT channel, opened a invideo account where I created the 5 seconds video, and I even opened a clickbank account and I just added a product to promote success.
Let’s see how it goes.
I know it took me a long time… I believe is because I don’t have much experience with the digital world (obviously) and because I was watching your video in my phone and creating the video and all you explained in my iPad with a slow connection of internet and not much space in it.

I'm 43 and I'm electric slow and I'm making TH-cam so hard to start I've studied month and months. And I'm making invideo so hard to even thought I paid over 180 dollars for it. I won't to make shorts but I don't understand how you can make shorts a niche channel and make it fit in with afflitate marketing. Help please thanks

You didn't mention that you need 10 Million views in the past 90 days and 1k subscribers to be eligible for the TH-cam parter program to get paid.

@@MikeVloggin of course yes, and for videos other than shorts you need 4000 watch ours in the last 12 months and 1k subscribers before you can get paid. Google: "Joining TH-cam's partner program requirements" and read.
He doesn't mention that of course because he wants veiws and likes.

@@specen16 some affiliate links on clickbank are labeled as spam. Your content could be too similar to others. You could've maybe violated terms if you didn't double verify your account like I showed how. Tons of reasons haha but those are a few main ones

The average CPM for shorts is 0.04$... I doubt anyone is making near 200$ a day without a absurd amount of views. I could be wrong though, this is just from what I have seen from other creators talking about how shorts CPM is really really low.

I have started really because of you bro. It’s really interesting and I started since last month. But i have a little problem because i posted twice a day since i started but my reach is very low than I expected. If a video reach in a higher level its only 1.4k or 1.5k as higher as reach. I’m adding tags and all you taught in videos. But I don’t know the exact reason but I’m still doing my work with a huge hope. I will do my best until it reach millions of views 💪💪

Stop believing this guy. TH-cam is very clear and strict with videos like these. Its in their guideline. You need to show your face in order to make money on TH-cam shorts. You cant just copy and paste and spam TH-cam that is not your content. I just browsed your TH-cam short. You are literally shadow banned. You have over 50+ videos with 1-2 views. Cause you are spamming youtube with videos that is not yours personally. Read the term and agreement on shorts.
Nowhere does TH-cam say you have to show your face to get monetized.

These types of shorts are not gonna monitize
There a lot of neat tricks that you unselfishly shared with us - things we will never know especially for someone like me who only uses PC all the time. Most of your videos took me probably 20mins to watch, 2 hours to experiment it myself, and 2 hours to produce something nice. If I haven't chanced upon your channel or videos, I guess I'm gonna take 2 weeks to experiment (and keep failing) and another 2 weeks to come out with something basic. Your content is a life saver... pretty sure I'm not alone on this... ❤

I think that this kind of shorts can't get monetized until you put your voice over or show your face.
After watching your no face video and using chatgpt. I bit the bullet. I started posting. Some videos get a couple hundred. Some 0 to 2 or 3. My guess is wrong timing or uploading to close together or both. My best is from 6pm to 9pm. Slowly getting subscribers. I just say everyone is one step closer. I'm not so much worried about the subs as much as I am the views right now.
That's great man! I see people around here complaining about getting their accounts flagged and deleted because of the affiliate links in the comments. I am not interested in doing that as much as I am in getting the views and growing the channel, eventually monetizing it and turning it into an income source. Thanks for making it sounds easy Thomas, but the issue I have is that it seems to be much harder to get view consistently then I thought. The other major challenge is simply getting enough content to churn out videos. I think it would be helpful if you did a little research on these issues and maybe made a couple of other videos?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you are not exporting each video before you start the next one. When you export that will save your video to your computer. Then you will be able to start another one as a separate video.

Tried it and TH-cam gave me a strike. Maybe because I posted 2 videos with affiliated links in less than 24 hours. Not sure yet, but you can’t do that frequently, because the algorithms will take that as spam. Trying again with another channel with other approach. It really works, at least I got views, no sales 😅

Mate, even the channels he is using as an example don't make anywhere near that amount. Its BS, that channel has 100k views daily on shorts, short rpm is like 4 cents, so they are making 4 dollars a day. Nowhere near 10k+, utter BS

Monetization of shorts seems to happen when a viewer is on your stream and watches multiple shorts with ads in between. Do you get any money if the short appears on a viewer's "shorts" feed with no ad?
Hey man , good content as always , i want to share this as a positive feedback and is my opinion you don't have to agree or do it . BUT i think your videos would get a lot better if you change your thumbnails with the surprised face pointing up, looks overly acted and weird. They are all so similar despite the title , when i see on my suggested vids section i think that is an old video i already watched so i don't click on it . . Also the hands movement is too constant your whole boy jumps as you talk and seeing your hands all the time is very distracting.
