I've come to realize that all these youtube make money gurus are only in it for themselves. They're making all the money and they want to prey on you to help them make more, just by clicking on their links.

Here's a tip for you. I have seen TH-camrs recently start saying things like "hit that like and subscribe button, *it's free*." This actually has the opposite effect of what you are trying to do. People don't think that it costs money to like and subscribe. When you say it's free, your request to like and subscribe becomes insulting and off-putting. You don't want that. Just ask for a like and subscribe in a nice and polite way, and don't mention cost because it's negatively affecting your like and subscribe ratios I guarantee it.

Your video is very very informative Thomas. But I have noticed you are not answering the question of copyright issues asked by many. We would need to know the copyright answer to avoid TH-cam red flags on the channel etc. These motivational videos or whatever subject you choose is owned by someone. And asking permission or printing their name is not enough. Learned that from past experience. I have done video production for years including live productions of many speakers. You need to explain upfront the process Thomas or the legal steps taken that you have been successful with. That is a major issue with this entire program opportunity and many will not invest their time or money in your program as a result.

What is the world able to do to attract visits to videos. The content is not monetized! Even if Social Blade shows you a certain amount of money for visits. Whoever managed to monetize such a channel, monetized it a long time ago. Now it is demonetized for reused content by too many creators. And trust me! I was just rejected for such a reason, the same niche!

Add credit does absolutely nothing legally, most of those speeches are not in the public domain, but whomever owns them (the organization or the celebrity) just have very little chance to actually bother put an content ID on it. The speeches in almost all those videos are in violation of copyright and not in the public domain. That typical happens 70 years after speaker's death, assume no one legitimately reclaimed it. The copyright holder however, can grant public domain whenever he wants. Overall not a big deal, just don't want people to have the wrong idea.

So many people don’t understand what he said at 5:29… use a voiceover…. there is a way around the copyright of using the sound from the actual speech. Use a different voiceover. Give credit to the person that have the speech.

Is that ok the usage though? I know folks do it...but it feels a little sketchy to the person who created the work...for ex. they may sell audio book or etc. and we are spinning and subtly taking away from their work. I"m gonna think about it. I usually use my own voice- thankfully it's a good one, and I do relaxation videos.

You may want to check the youtube monetization policy. There are a lot of restrictions regarding these kinds of content these days. I don't want to discourage you but I hate to think that one would go through all that trouble just to find out later that your channel cannot be monetized.

Yes , TH-cam will demonetize a channel. It has to be original content. Over the past two years I’ve tried a few different strategies and I’ve gotten copy right strikes and recently a channel was demonetized. Most youTubers are selling people a dream. Our content has to be original!!!
This is great information but what about copyright - even though youtube doesn't pick it up as copyright in the beginning its because there is no music in it, but the content can still be copyright claimed and your channel can get closed for it.
I've made 3 videos following these steps exactly, with the resources listed. In all three cases they were published but TH-cam flags them as using Copyright material. TH-cam also says that I have permission from the owner to use them. One, is this normal? Two, will this be a problem if I ever monetize my channel?
What he's not telling you is that if it doesn't say Public Domain then you need to ask permission to use it. And yes, you will get flagged by TH-cam even if you add the speakers names in your description box. Get permission first, give the credit in the description box, and then post.
Use motivational speeches very creatively. For instance, you can make a summary of the subject matter and produce it with a different voice-over. Then infuse it into the speech.

I have a question...Some of the Audio is Public Domain and some of it isn't Public Domain. The Martin Luther King Speech is Public Domain but the Les Brown isn't Public Domain..And there are people requesting permission to use the content.

Great stuff. My main concern with these types of speeches is how do you know you won't get a copyright issue down the road. TH-cam says no copyright issue but then you get dinged later. Maybe I missed it in the video but just public domain?

Add credit does absolutely nothing legally, most of those speeches are not in the public domain, but whomever owns them (the organization or the celebrity) just have very little chance to actually bother put an content ID on it. The speeches in almost all those videos are in violation of copyright and not in the public domain. That typical happens 70 years after speaker's death, assume no one legitimately reclaimed it. The copyright holder however, can grant public domain whenever he wants. Overall not a big deal, just don't want people to have the wrong idea.

So many people don’t understand what he said at 5:29… use a voiceover…. there is a way around the copyright of using the sound from the actual speech. Use a different voiceover. Give credit to the person that have the speech.

Is that ok the usage though? I know folks do it...but it feels a little sketchy to the person who created the work...for ex. they may sell audio book or etc. and we are spinning and subtly taking away from their work. I"m gonna think about it. I usually use my own voice- thankfully it's a good one, and I do relaxation videos.

You may want to check the youtube monetization policy. There are a lot of restrictions regarding these kinds of content these days. I don't want to discourage you but I hate to think that one would go through all that trouble just to find out later that your channel cannot be monetized.

Yes , TH-cam will demonetize a channel. It has to be original content. Over the past two years I’ve tried a few different strategies and I’ve gotten copy right strikes and recently a channel was demonetized. Most youTubers are selling people a dream. Our content has to be original!!!
This is great information but what about copyright - even though youtube doesn't pick it up as copyright in the beginning its because there is no music in it, but the content can still be copyright claimed and your channel can get closed for it.
I've made 3 videos following these steps exactly, with the resources listed. In all three cases they were published but TH-cam flags them as using Copyright material. TH-cam also says that I have permission from the owner to use them. One, is this normal? Two, will this be a problem if I ever monetize my channel?
What he's not telling you is that if it doesn't say Public Domain then you need to ask permission to use it. And yes, you will get flagged by TH-cam even if you add the speakers names in your description box. Get permission first, give the credit in the description box, and then post.
Use motivational speeches very creatively. For instance, you can make a summary of the subject matter and produce it with a different voice-over. Then infuse it into the speech.

What about the copyright issue. You haven't told us about that while using these speeches.
So few questions. What do you need to setup as far as money coming in. Like Venmo cash app or PayPal account. And lastly how do taxes work on this type of income . Very cool video love the channel

I have a question...Some of the Audio is Public Domain and some of it isn't Public Domain. The Martin Luther King Speech is Public Domain but the Les Brown isn't Public Domain..And there are people requesting permission to use the content.
