Hi Thomas, I thought I'd let you know that I had created a channel (not this one I am commenting from), did everything you taught in this video, even pinning the comment with short link to a clickbank add to try to get paid, made 7 videos and put them out over the weekend. Maybe I went did to much to fast but was super excited lol. Anyway, google completely shut it down and will not allow the email I used to ever create a youtube account again. I am attempting to appeal it but I thought I'd come here to let you know of this info. I'm not trying to be a downer but I thought you might like to know. I do appreciate your videos, I love all the info I'm getting from them. cheers!
Update to this!! The appeal worked! They reviewed it and didn't actually find it in an violation! Hooray!! I won't delete this comment though because its still a learning experience. Just appeal it folks!

Well i did use affiliate marketing link in my comments. I just realized i was intermediate and not advanced… maybe this is why. Would be nice if they accept the appeal and i fix this by sending them an id.

I think that it's much easier having faceless channel if somebody is a shy person... You can focus only on your content without fear of being judged. My friend is running a faceless channel currently, and what helps him the most is using some tools to get his views/likes count up, so he immediately gets into the loop. It's pretty sick to be honest, and he says he never had problems with monetization (also a little bit of Famester is helpful along the way).

@@realmarcio2029 yup, I used Canva instead. It’s a little annoying getting the text right because they overlap even when editing but once you get over that it’s not bad. I’m already very used to the platform and utilize it for other ventures so I’m trying it for the experiment! Hope this helps!

A bonus to using Canva is that once you've created a video, you can just duplicate it and swap out words and background videos to create content even faster.

uhm, shorts is a bit complicated, idk why but seems like TH-cam has this 'boost algorithm' for new shorts but if they didn't make it to some unknown condition they just stop gaining views.
shorts are not monetized the same way as regular videos,you could have tens of millions of views and can only make few hundred dollars from the Creator Fund.

Hello Thomas, I saw this video and applied and put this strategy into practice, I created the videos, published them, I had 1000+ views in the 12 videos I posted, I put my affiliate link to a clickbank product, but unfortunately my account was suspended due to spam and stuff, what do I do now Thomaz? Should I create a new account and not post my affiliate link at first? what is the time to post my affiliate link in the comments on youtube short, because I've seen that starting to do this right from the beginning is not worth it and it's risky because youtube suspends accounts that do this, any advice for me Thomas ?

If you don't have much time then I wouldn't recommend this. You need to get 10 million views collectively on your shorts within a 90 day period to be eligible for monetization. Starting from 0 subs, achieving that goal could be a full time job.

Sorry to burst your bubble but doing the affiliate marketing link in the comments will get your channel deleted. Just post the videos and try to build your subscribers then go back and add the affiliate links no more than one per day. Even that is breaking youtube's community guidelines. (Comments Spam: Misleadingly drive viewers off TH-cam. Repetitive comments: Leaving large amounts of identical, untargeted or repetitive comments. )

Yes definitely give it some time for adding the links, some accounts are getting terminated because of the links. But I believe it's just because some affiliate products on clickbank are labeled as spam.

I have to say unfortunately, you have to be in the TH-cam partner program to make money.. If you don't have 4000 hours of watching regular videos and 10 million views on short videos.. you have no possibility to earn.
With shorts, you need 1000 subscribers, and 10m short video views over 90 days (not 4000 hours).

I'm new to this streaming thing. I've seen that to be eligible for the YPP you need 1K subs and 10M views, before I can even get monetized. Going by that 4K views example per short, that means I would need to make 2.500 shorts before even being eligible for money?

Great video on the process, but this doesn't quite give you all of the information related to actually monetize the channel you create. On top of the video creation, you still need to have considerable subscriber base as well meet shorts view time requirements before applying and being accepted in order to start monetizing your shorts. I would be sure to look at the requirements on youtube prior to attempting the process so that you have the understanding that it's not going to happen overnight.

Nope, you don't need a certain amount of subs... you can get accepted with 10 million SHORTS views instead of the original 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours.

Hi Thomas. Thank you for this video. I tried this and created 5 videos yesterday and today but I deleted the 5th one because almost immediately after I uploaded it, TH-cam sent me an email that my video had a copyright claim (not a copyright strike). This means that my video cannot be seen in Russia. The video had an audio using Whitney Houston's song. Altho I wasnt expected to delete it, I still went ahead and deleted it. i just wondered why my other videos using popular songs did not get a copyright claim. So I will have to choose copyright free songs from TH-cam library next time to avoid this incident again as suggested by TH-cam. I just want to inform you also that 2 of my videos got about 400 to 500 views less than 3 hours after uploading so, yes, this is a good niche. Again, thank you.

If you created & editing your own unique content, you shouldn't get banned. I'd suggest appealing it. Sometimes people get banned for no reason and an appeal works right away.

Actually I found it for your viewers.
You can monetize TH-cam Shorts with after gaining 1,000 subscribers. The worse news, is you need 10 million valid Shorts views in the past 90 days to do so. That’s a lot of views! If you meet that criteria, you can activate ads and earn 45% of the allocated ad revenue on your Shorts videos, with the rest going to TH-cam.
However do not be discouraged by this, anything worth doing takes effort and time. Start pumping out those videos at 10-12 a day and some will pop and after several months of consistently putting in work, you will see the fruits of your labor

you only need 6 videos a day... if your topic and quality is professional, you can get over 130k followers under a month (personal experience)
I did it exactly as you explained. Today, my channel was immediately blocked. TH-cam Short videos about cats and dogs. I was not told why I was banned, only that I had violated the guidelines. I assume the Clickbank links are banned (Bitly).
