thank you so much for your effort and your great explanation. It really makes my life easier and made my journey in medicine a little bit more enjoyable
Found this video by chance. Very informative. I have macroadenoma. The left side of my eye is partially damaged due to the compression on the optic nerve. Taking cabergoline to reduce the tumor. Also taking hormones for testosterone, thyroid, cortisol. MRI shows tumor shrunk significantly, but still present. Prolactin level reduced to acceptable range, testing every 6 months since 2013.
Thank you so much . The video was so informative I did my surgery in November 2022 Initially I thought it was an eye problem through CT scan the doctor discovered I had a pituitary tumor as a result my left eye lost vision due to the tumor. Am currently on Levothyroxine.
🔥👏🙏 Thank you! Very informative. Any chance a TBI(age 6) survivor could have been misdiagnosed (age 14) w/ Hypothyroidism instead of (Pan)Hypopituitarism? 🤔 I have been on Levothyroxine for 29 yrs. I am weened off 2 months now and feel great. Wondering if I was misdiagnosed. God bless.
You know the topic very well this giant guy is art ambulatory computer doctor he knows all the details I do not have to ask questions he goes all the branches😮😮😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤ superlative
Dear dr Ninja I have a question I never notice in my medical records my tester one is low and have a lot headaches plus my LH is high is this thyroid or pituitary problems?

My Macroadenoma went more left than up so instead of compressing the optic chiasm it compressed the left III and IV nerves.
Couldn't be explained any better

Great Info
Why Does a Tumour happen.
There are many theories but doctors don’t actually know why.
Sometimes Radiation or something but often times the reason is unknown.
as always this is excellent
Really helpful and great explanation, thank you, Ninja Nerd.
What about a macro adenoma presenting as prolactinoma with higher prolactin levels, but is actually non functioning?
Dear dr Ninja I have a question I never notice in my medical records my tester one is low and have a lot headaches plus my LH is high is this thyroid or pituitary problems?
43:30 i think we can't say directly microadenoma? and send to MR . maybe it's ectopic cushing . we should supression test with high dose dex. right ?
Wonderful
Thank you

Why only postpartum blood loss causes but not others like internal bleeding and others ?
Because in postpartum, the pituitary is enlarged. it's more susceptible to blood loss.
