Oh hell yes, ive had this on my watch list since almost thanksgiving, im so thrilled its you reviewing it because you have excellent taste and i know your 'vania taste is impeccable 😊
Haha, I appreciate that. I think this one is going to be hit or miss for a lot of people. I enjoyed my time with it but it wasn't the best. I also felt similar with Metroid Dread if that says anything for you.
Ooh hell yes! I've been waiting for someone whose opinion i trust to review this one! I played a bunch of metroidvania demos during steam next fest (including deviator lmao) and the two standouts were ultros and biomorph, those two got me hooked from the get go. After ultros came out though i heard lots of folks complaining about the rougelite mechanics which got me a bit worried because I'm not a fan of those, so thank you for reassuring me :) And I'd love to see you review more games, especially metroidvanias, I'm always looking for a new one to play and with how many new releases we're getting these days, it's good to have a trusted opinion on the matter. If you wanna, I'd suggest you give biomorph a shot (either the demo or the full game when it releases in april), the gameplay was some of the most enjoyable I'd experienced since hollow knight.
Bio Morph is one I want to check out here in the near future. Next up on the list of reviews is Mobius Machine releasing March 1st and I did a review of Moonlit Farewell. I'll let you know how those turn out soon!
Please keep making reviews for games relyea, I was afraid I was gunna have to watch an IGN review but then I saw ur vid and felt to relieved. Love the video, keep it up.😊
I like these reviews because I don’t have much time to play, and if i’m playing it has to be good. So it’s really helpful to navigate if it’s worth the time for me or not. Thank you :)
Thank you for the review. And I would love to see more game reviews from you. Also I would like to say thank you for all your work on the Hollow Knight videos, especially the guides. 😊
I was not a big fan of the messenger. I made it to when the time/ graphics change. It felt like a lot of the enemies were reused and I wasn’t a fan of some of the controls. Some people loved the game but it was not my cup of tea
nine souls looks and plays great but it is very bloody and violent. like heads coming off gore. I probably won't play it on my youtube channel but it will probably be a great game. Just trying to keep things family friendly. I'll have to check out Rin when it releases. I am looking forward to BioGun and Bo path of the teal lotus
Hi Relyea, love your content! Subscribed as soon as I saw your videos. Team Trax is creating a metroidvania and it is almost complete! Would you like to say a couple of sentences so they can add it into the Backers section. No money needed. ?

Dang, that is impressive at how well it broke down the video. Nailed it.

There is plenty more on the horizon too

Thank you so much for reviewing this! I really like this game, music's awesome!
Great review. It's always better to hear it from someone who has a similar taste in games. This one has gone under my radar, so thanks!
I needed something to replace the Hollow Knight void in my life, thank you Reyla 👏🏻
I like these reviews because I don’t have much time to play, and if i’m playing it has to be good. So it’s really helpful to navigate if it’s worth the time for me or not. Thank you :)
You are very much welcome.
This one was hard to just flat out say it’s a must buy. I think some people will love it and others not so much.
Thank you for the review. And I would love to see more game reviews from you.
Also I would like to say thank you for all your work on the Hollow Knight videos, especially the guides. 😊
This game looks really interesting & original
I didn't realize this was on PS5 yet
Nice Review 😎✌️
It is very different from a lot of other games based on some of the mechanics but also very similar overall. It is interesting for sure.
I have been eyeing this game, since release. Thank you Relyea for reviewing!!
You are welcome!
I really appreciate this review. I was completely unaware of this game. Now i want to play it.
Great job, Relyea!
You are welcome!
Have you tried the massager Reyla? I have it in my Library it looks like a ninja game and looks fun, I’ve just been so busy with tarkov and helldivers

Great review, keep going with those : ) I am torn, because it is soooo colorful but I liked the music. Not sure if I would play it.
Might be worth throwing on the wishlist for later. There are a LOT of metroidvania games coming up soon
@@RelyeaGaming The trailers of Rin The Last Child and Nine Sols look cool. Maybe Biomorph, too. There are really a lot of games x )

@@RelyeaGaming Ok, I didn't know that there is so much gore and not family friendly 🙈 I will check those other game trailers out, thx : )
I was waiting to see a review for this game. Thank you.
You are welcome, Hope you enjoyed the review and hope it helped

I tried to look up the game but couldn’t find anything.
@@RelyeaGaming It hasn’t released yet. You can just type the couple of sentences here and I’ll send it right away
You can just type some sentences here and they will be added to Backers Section

this game looks interesting but i feel the character gets lost to the background visuals. Awesome review keep them coning!
Next review is for Mobious Machine which releases March 1st
Did u see ender lilies is getting a sequel this year? I’m so excited for that!
I just saw that! I am going to have to hurry up and play the first one
@@RelyeaGaming 😱😱😱what u haven’t played the first one. I loved it. I think it’s somewhere between ori and hk for me
There was something about it that I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I really do need to play it.
I should have time while I am away.
Wish someone would make a guide for gardening and connecting the living network
Yeah, the living network is rough in some spots
This rpg is sickkkkkkkk I’ve never seen it till now but it looks amazing ,it reminds me of celest
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was lost. I was 10 hours in and was just planting seeds willy nilly. Randomly found the ending and done.
It started to make a little more sense as I played through it a second time for this video… just a little
@@RelyeaGaming I just watched reviews and playthroughs when I was gone. I could not be bothered to connect all the shamans lol
Thank you for the review! If you're looking for new metroidvanias, the new Prince of Persia game was amazing in my opinion.
I want to play it but I don’t think it’s available on the Steam store and only the EA play store
@@RelyeaGaming aw man that's unfortunate cause it was really good. Ender Lilies is a great one too
I need to play ender lilies now that the is a sequel announced.
I also really need to play Grime
@@RelyeaGaming Both are really good metroidvanias and I am also looking forward to the sequel
I like this review content and getting to see new games :)
I’ve got another one coming soon
Getting a major dead cells vibe
Relyea does not know what a uterus is… okay
I don't know what a Cosmic Uterus is.
@@RelyeaGamingOf course it's a uterus that comes and becomes the cosmos!
Omg i was wondering if any of my hollow knight channels would play this one!
Yay new video!!
I hope you enjoy!

Great Review!

@@RelyeaGaming I would love to see more review style vids in the future!

Game isn't my cup of tea, but it's a good review.
I appreciate that :-)
Nice

Looks like dead cells
I thought it looked very different
I was thinking the colour palette looked a bit like dead cells
