Chose between this and Aukey (120 deg). Decided to get the Aukey...mainly because price ..quality is virtually the same. Amir superwide tends to warp people's faces especially on the edges for group selfies. Landscapes, its ok. 140 deg and 120 deg wide virtually very small difference in real word pictures.
I'm going to a concert in the summer. Im going to be in the p2 of the venue. Any recommendations for that? I want to be able to take pics from where I am to the stage where the performers are going to be. I have a Samsung s8 by the way idk if that matters.
If you're going to be a distance away you may want to look into a telescope lens for smartphones. I haven't tried any personally so I can't recommend a specific one but those are better for far distances. If you're going to be close to the stage then a wide angle lens such as this one would probably be more ideal. Just always be sure to check that a lens is compatible with your phone model before you order it.
What 12x zoom lens would work best for note 8? I've been researching a lot and haven't found not optical zoom lens for the note 8. All I've saw is Fisheye, Macro and wide lens.
It can if you have a thinner case. But I probably wouldn't recommend leaving a thicker case on because then the lens will be further away from your phone's lens. This might result in your phone's lens capturing part of the lens kit in the photo.
The blurry edges (especially on the left side) of the wide angle lens make is completely unacceptable IMO. Do ALL mobile wide angle lenses (even 3-4x the price have this problem or is it only the cheap ones? Thanks in advance for your answers.
I believe most wide angle lens will display some level of blurry edges. It's almost that fish eye effect. I do think adjusting the lens clip on your camera can make it better but it will always be there at some level unfortunately.

I think it has something to do with the cheapness of these lenses, like the Amir, which makes them totally unacceptable IMO. You might as well light on fire your $15-$20.

I start selling in Amazon and can't afford a camara right now, I need decent quality photos with minimum requirement like perfect white, pics more than 1000 pix length with 500 pix wide -, because Amazon is using zoom for their pictures,. Do you have some suggestion about lents? I will appreciate it, I have Samsung A5 thank very much.
I would say it depends on the size of the items you are taking pictures of. Check out Amir's other smartphone lens kits. They have a wide range of different phone lenses for every need. They also have one with a built in LED light that might help if you are taking photos of products to sell.
It is more designed for photography but is also does a fine job for shooting video as well. If you do plan to use this lens for shooting video my tip is to make sure to keep your phone as stable as possible so the lens does not slide to the left or right. Because if the lens kit moves it could cover part of the phone's camera lens. Luckily the clip maintains a tight hold onto your phone but I would still keep this in mind when shooting video.
I don't have a Pixel myself, but they say it's compatible with the Google Pixel. However, there is no mention of the Pixel 2. So if the position of the camera is in a similar spot to the original Pixel then it should fit fine. If the position drastically changed then it might not. In most cases the clip allows you to adjust the lens position to fit over most smartphone cameras.

Bokeh (blurred background effect of some lenses) is NOT pronounced bouquet (of flowers). It is pronounced boca (like Boca Raton, Fl.) Ruined a detailed, professional sounding review for me. Call me critical! ;)

Well your every single shot with wide angle lens was blurred, I was so ready to buy Amir 5 in 1 HD lens but after watching your video I'm so confused.

From my DSLR days, Search for and get something called "LensPen" a must have for good glass lenses.

Removing the phone case every time you want to take a picture may be a little bit balls breaking. Does it work why the phone case in it ?

No this model does not have those features.

Unfortunately, I don't believe it will. You would need a special phone lens for that. This lens will likely block one of the 2 cameras.

Yea pairing it with a gimble should give you plenty of stability for when you're filming on the move. That would be a good combo.

Yes it will work on a phone with dual lenses. But you will only be able to place it over one of the lenses not both.

I would say since the iPhone x has 2 lenses it probably will not fit. I imagine one of the iPhone x lenses will be covered.

No need to have that clip, just cut the rest of it off, and superglue that lens onto the back of a phone.
DJ Ghost By using that superglue you may damage your phone and another thing is you won't need the lens all the time.
