Spent the early 80's on my stomach on the floor racing A/FX cars with my best friend while Triumph thumped and blasted out of my Realistic stereo system. Lay it on the Line, Fool for Your Love, Takes Time, and Woman in Love were GREAT racing songs!

@@konradkanuckle5920 I had Aurora A/FX, but I did have some glow in the dark rails. They were cool. And Flamethrower cars (cars with headlights).

Couldn't say it better. I seen them live on Allied Forces Tour and Rush I seen live 5 or 6 time. It's too bad that in band differences broke Triumph up because they had so much more music to give us. They have settled their differences now but a little too late. Sure would be nice for a reunion tour.

Huge RUSH fan too! Thankfully I have a great wife and we saw them 10 times on last three tours! She loves road trips, and is willing to entice my fanaticism!!! I saw the third last show in Phoenix, F' me I cried when it ended.....the last time I'd see ' em. So much influence both these bands have given me to work through life's details and tribulations.

There was so much quality in our music. We never thought it would go away. I met Rik and Gil, both super nice guys, even when half the people, at a Video Release Party followed Gil into the washroom. Poor guy was mobbed. That was 1986, not too long before the breakup. Absolutely genre's and musical styles change and evolve over time. Today's music seems mild and boring. A lack of creative intensity seems to be the norm now. Nobody stands out of the crowd.
I blame Grunge.
