Jay: Make sure if you are running SLI to have 2 of the exact same card.
Steve: No you don't need to do that. You can just jerry rig an SLI setup using 2 different 3090s using PCI_E Riser cards and a Jerry rigged cooling solution for the FE card.

What? Only on the later years did it get more "important" to use the same cards. Always has been a best idea to do so ofc. But, it a acceleration card. It's the software holding it back (if not the same) but it is understandable why it's hard the code for that shiet. If there only was 2 GPUs then sure. Almost a 100% scaling should be possible

If you want to prevent condensation with a full body water block, run the AC on the back of the card to lower total temperature deltas across the card. Also, invest in a dehumidifier. Condensation is based off two things: ambient temperature and humidity. You can greatly reduce condensation on the system if you run a dehumidifier close to it. I do this for my sub-ambient server, and it is 100% safe and stable.

    Jo Jay.
The air coming out of the AC is already "dried" because the water "drops out" in the AC cooler heat exchanger as the coldest spot.
Thats why there is a plug somewhere on the lower part and/or it gets used on the "hot" part of the ac to help cooling by evaporating.
So when the air gets out of the AC, everything afterwards means the air is already getting warmer and so "even more dry".
Only point would be if you cool down the card with the ac way below room temp, then switch off gpu and remove the ac.
Perhaps the backside of the card, but it should still be surrounded by a indirect "cloud" of warmed up ultradry air from the AC.
Did you try spraywax (car shop) or conformal coating on your subroomtemperature-oc-gpus if you fear condensation ?
Spraywax is great because you can easily reflow it again everywhere with a heatgun.
if you need a plate, try aluminium, a hand drill and manual saw, we know you can do it.. or even wood (only the finest aged swamp oak, because of better sound) works just fine.
I would really like to see a tool which includes the memory error correction rate happening. So people dont get all high on super oc-memory numbers and in reality lose speed.

Just finished up making a Luger action wrench with a chop saw and hand file, tolerances had to be 0.0005-0.0010” and I nailed it with 0.0008” and that includes the
0.005” brass shim that fits between the Luger and action wrench to protect the
blueing. Mills are nice to have, but we can make due without them for most custom jobs.

@bruh meme Not true, they are designed for a specific temperature drop from ambient, usually around 20 F ...... If the air in is 70 then the air out is 50, if they air in is 80 then the air out is 60 ..... However there are limits since those small units use capillary tubes rather than an expansion valve so you aren't going to gain much below 60 in ..... better way is to lower the liquid temperature and the easiest way to do that would be misting the condenser coil ..... You can buy kits for home A/C condensers where you have tube that circles the top with little garden type misters every few inches that mist the coil whenever the unit turns on but the downside is getting a water supply to them, you either have to tie up your garden hose or plumb a line from inside the house that can be shut off and drained for winter so it doesn't burst from freezing ....

    Heres a little hint.
Set your clocks then close the overclocking program since it uses gpu power each time it polls all the sensors.
You gain about 450 closing percisionX and about 140 points closing afterburner.
Change screen res to 1080 and disable gpu scaling.
Close any thing else running in the background using the GPU you can see whats using it by calling nvidia-smi
Then lastly for people that dont have there cards shunt modded. Nvidia used strange power limiters like 5.4%
Overclocking software you can only move it too 5% so your missing out on the .4%
You can set the full power limit in nvidia-smi using the -pl command.
