  • Hey friends! This is my first "What I Eat in a Day" video and I plan to make a series of these and add them to a playlist on this channel. This way, if you're looking for meal prep ideas, or you want to switch things up and need a little inspiration, you can have a look at my videos to get some your juices flowing.
This video is showing you what a typical day of eating looks like in my world, how many times a day I eat typically, and the portion of my meals. Of course, this can vary from day to day depending on different factors (what my plans are for the day, if we have guests over, or if we go out to eat, what time of the month it is etc.).
If you are new to the carnivore way of life, the animal based way of eating, I encourage you to get creative in the kitchen and find the love for cooking nourishing foods! With practice it becomes very easy to cook this way. I hope you enjoy this video, please share your feedback with me!

Found you yesterday and felt in love with you. I'm a 50 year old from Germany and my hole life I've been struggling with diet. During the time of corona I have been doing so much experiments with my nutrition, I can't count how much experiments. And I never never felt satisfied, I did two weeks of plant based vegan, starting the day with celery juice, go on with green Smoothies, fruits, dryed fig and so on. I was tired the hole day, I was thinking of what to eat next the hole day, I felt so uncomfortable with my bloated belly. One week ago I've been reading the book from Shawn Baker and baaahm... Now I'm doing carnivore for just one week and for the first time in my life I'm sure that I can go on and on with this. Your videos make me sure that I am on the right side.

This young lady is "simply.....cute"...doesn't everyone agree? She's very good at speaking, with a nice smile and delivery of information. Love this "kid"; I'm 58...she's a kid to me.
A very mild, easy demeaner that most speakers don't have. No offense hopefully to "her".
I think,....pulling out "bone marrow for me"...will take some retroactive changes...but, the logic is obvious. I'm starting with bone broth soups in a crock pot...high quality eggs,...and slowly cutting out the "high starch/4-pieces-of-toast daily nonsense. Now down to "1" piece daily for breakfast, with three eggs minimum.
Like to try that "chicken feet" extrapolation of gelatin...this is in fact..."what Gelatin is: pure connective tissue". Know gelatin can be bought in some places still - larger tins of it. Cheaper to buy Chicken feet....I presume?

I'm use to boiling chicken for 30 minutes then cutting it into cubes, while thats going Sautee carrots, mushroom, celery and onion for 6-8 minutes and combine when chicken is cooked. Development of human civilization outside of tropical (continuous food supply) required an abundance of storable foods, namely tubers, grains and to some extent oilseeds, to survive periods without adequate food supply such as winters or dry seasons. Also, these foods with their high glucose content, mostly in the form of amylase (a.k.a. starch) were indispensable to fuel the ever bigger brain of humans, which consumes roughly 20% of daily calorie intake in the form of glucose. Ketones are an emergency fuel for the brain with toxic side effects. One of the ketones produced under glucose starvation is Acetone, a very powerful solvent with a low boiling point. Acetone can dissolve most oils and greases and is extremely flammable. Nothing you want to have in your body for any significant amount of time.
