When a stereo says it only supports and an SD card that is 32GB is that correct? The standard for Android SD cards is 2TB I need one that can take a 512GB

All the big manufacturers, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, Clarion seem to have one set of garbage head units for Australia (at least according to their .au websites) then a whole bunch of better looking and better spec'd products available for Japan, Europe and the US..

It's a unit limitation, it does happen from time to time due to interference.

The manufacturer of the headunit normally sets the limits.
