I just got these, I love them. The transparency mode (big deal for me), noise cancellation, sound quality and clarity, soundstage, fit and finish, all super premium. Like you said, worth every penny.

These headphones are a symbol to me now. I remember using this for the first time at the Apple Store in Orlando in July 2021 and I was amazed with the sound quality, but the best part was when an Apple employee helped me use them. I’ll never forget that time it was a great time!

this might be your first review I'm not feeling. you brush off obvious flaws like the fact they don't fold, that they cannot be switched off unless you put them in that ridiculous bra sleeve, their weight, the lack of a cable, the lack of an EQ, stuff like that.
compared to all that, you keep emphasizing the "feel", how premium they feel vs. the sonys, which is a bit disingenuous because the sonys are designed for function over form i.e. to be comfortable over long listening sessions, and that requires a lightweight material: plastic. the maxes are designed for form over function, they're straight up made for "a premium feel" and so that you can flex at starbucks. two different design decisions with very distinct goals in mind, so emphasizing how the sonys feel cheap vs. the maxes is like mentioning 10 times in a video how the bulky-ass maxes will fatigue your head after a very short time, while the amazing featherlight sonys won't, that one-sided comparison would also feel a bit disingenuous :/
edit: I've just checked MKBHD's review, and he elaborated on both aspects, as a review should imo. not trying to knock your video, I'm in love with what you generally do, this review just appeared a bit fanboyish by brushing off flaws and exaggerating advantages :/

Many people don’t get the design of the case but it is meant to serve as a storage/carrying/shutdown case for the AirPods Max just as the respective cases for AirPods and AirPods Pro do. It even has a lid (the flap) that you lower to “close” the case. The design is not the best but that is what Apple was clearly going for with the AirPods Max case.
