ALEXISONFIRE is one of those few bands among some of my favorites (such as tool, Deftones, Radiohead, soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Mogwai, working for a nuclear free city, Unkle ) where you just see the evolution and works of growth that shows how much they still have it while still sounding different and fresh while keeping the core intact. City and colour is fantastic, and to see ALEXISONFIRE return with the same energy and growth is just fantastic. Looking forward to this upcoming album. Just a banger of a track.

This song reminds me of waaayy back when the first era of Hardcore ended around '85 and 1986-1988 when all the normally fast playing Hardcore bands started slowing their shit down and making very Grungey/Groove Metal type music like SSD, Gang Green and Descendants.. I really dig this new track.
I love how they focused on their mouths/faces. Given we've literally been hiding behind masks for the last two years. Also love the grungey 90's sound like Season of the Flood. Epic sound.

Truly, it will go down in history as perhaps one of the greatest metalcore records ever recorded! Kids living 100 years from now will still be talking about this record! In 10 years, it will still be regarded as their most seminal, cohesive album yet. My personal favorites are all of them, from Committed to the Con, Sweet Dreams of Otherness, Sans Soleil, Conditional Love, Blue Spade, Dark Night of the Soul, Mistaken Information, Survivor's Guilt, Reverse the Curse, to World Stop Turning. Good things do come to those who wait!
It has the ideas of old crows young cardinals with the balls of the dogs blood ep. Love George stepping into a more of a frontman approach. I needed this after ETID broke up. Thank you to the only band ever.

I travelled from Donegal in Ireland over to Brixton Academy in London for their farewell shows in 2012. To see them one last time and just try to drink it all in and be in the moment as much as possible. It was such a great show. I knew I’d see Dallas live again with C&C, but it would never be the same as the catharsis of an AOF gig. They’re something else. Something different. Something so pure and immense. I’m so happy they’re back. The 2 new tracks are phenomenal. If they’re anything to go by, we are all in for a serious treat with Otherness. Gonna soundtrack summer 22. I hope every single one of the AOF family has a great and fun year and everything continues to be awesome for you all in life. We only get one, make it count! ❤️
