I discovered Laveda back in march, I remember seeing the name pop up on a "sxsw refugee" google doc (bands who's shows were cancelled and were looking for replacement gigs) back when we were beginning to understand the pandemic. For whatever reason, out of thousands of bands on that list, I clicked their link and was immediately gratified with these lush vibes. It was such a strange introduction to the band, but I hope they know that despite their tour not going to plan, they still managed to find new fans.

They got to do SXSW this year. I saw them in Denton after their stay in Austin. Good show.
