@@underneaththesky7169 I think its both optimistic (the chorus) and sad. It covers a range of emotions. Perhaps hope and optimism coupled with sad that they know like everybody she will be hurt at times and they can't protect her from everything. I think the English folk style perhaps sad about the modern world she is born into but an expression of love for her all the same. I may be off a bit but I don't think its just sad.
