The commission has no power to prosecute. It's mandate is to investigate and table a report for law enforcement and parliament. Law enforcement will then investigate the cases further and commence with litigation, then prosecution will be the outcome. It has to be noted however that the media has done a terrible job when it comes to maintain the innocence of individuals until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Thus we the citizenry are fully convinced that certain individuals are guilty of this or that. To the point that we are even convinced about the outcomes of prosecutions and label judges as captured when those outcomes don't agree with our biases. Furthermore we find lawyers and advocates being hated for doing their jobs, just like doctors or waiters, by representating those individuals we've fully judged. But the law is not emotional.

The commission has no power to prosecute. It's mandate is to investigate and table a report for law enforcement and parliament. Law enforcement will then investigate the cases further and commence with litigation, then prosecution will be the outcome.
It has to be noted however that the media has done a terrible job when it comes to maintain the innocence of individuals until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
Thus we the citizenry are fully convinced that certain individuals are guilty of this or that. To the point that we are even convinced about the outcomes of prosecutions and label judges as captured when those outcomes don't agree with our biases.
Furthermore we find lawyers and advocates being hated for doing their jobs, just like doctors or waiters, by representating those individuals we've fully judged.
