A couple things: 1. Nice review. Production quality is always nice to see. 2. REALLY appreciate the laser clearance test. That's a big fail in alot of suppressor reviews. 3. Flash suppression is (arguably) just as important as noise suppression, which, I the RL, isn't really a top priority once you're in the realm of most commercial suppressors. If you're reviewing suppressors, including a section on flash suppression is pretty paramount. Weight, length, and flash suppression all come before sound reduction (again, once we're talking about commercial suppressors) 4. Not sure I'd recommend "do-all" cans after owning a "do-all" can. There's nothing a .30 cal can can do that a 5.56 can't do *significantly* better, and swapping cans all the time isn't a viable workflow IRL if you're actually training with your shit. Zeros change (yeah, in theory the better cans give you an *approximate* return to zero, but "approximate" isn't good enough in my experience), cans will carbon lock, and, if you actually own firearms intending to fulfill the real purpose of the 2A, you should have the carbine you train the most with already kitted out the way you train with it and intend to use it. I love the idea of a do-all can, but it's a myth at the moment. Just my .02, which is worth about .015 when you account for inflation.
Appreciate the feedback! We are actually going to incorporate flash suppression into our reviews soon, so I’m glad you brought that up. I dont recommend 556 single host cans as a first can just because a new to suppressor user is going to miss out and possibly regret not going with a 30 cal depending on what they have. If they solely have a 556 in their collection, then get the best 556 can you can! However for the average user who may have a hunting rifle, ar15, 9mm glock, suppress them all! And grab a 36 cal can or something like an R9 from YHM. I personally aim to have 1 dedicated can per firearm. However, this is not feasible for everyone or every gun. I think suppressor choice is a personal thing and everyone’s situation is different. So I want my videos to provide information on what a particular can does for you, and you decide if that makes it the right choice.
Educational content. I feel like to understand where a suppressor stands in a market we need to understand why it may exist in the market to help the end user make an informed decision. It's more details than some want but the details are what some need as suppressor popularity continues to increase each day

Rat worx metal sear the best $99 I spent on my AUG. It doesn't make it much lighter 1/2lb-1lb lighter but the take up, the break and the reset are night and day difference.
My first rifle can was a Surefire purely to complete my Mk18… really wish I would have got 2 YHMs instead lol. Not even joking I could’ve bought 2 of these and paid the stamps and still been under the surefire price 🥴
That department of defense budget keeps those clones pricey. And during the free stamp promo you probably could have gotten 2.5 for r the price with stamps compared to an rc2. For the price this can performs

Probably fine as long as your barrel mount is concentric. I’ve ran it on 11.5” and it does well enough when you want that small package. For ultimate suppression on an sbr the cash speed k is insanely good, if the price detours you, the a10 from ab suppressor should be next.
I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the thermal. The dot has a battery spring issue when filming. Couldn’t get it to repeat after the fact. Eotech was still dead though from battery drain 🫠

I am pleasantly happy with the performance on the AUG. Just ensure you have the suppressor piston before running it. It’s not a high back pressure can, but you can do some damage to your overall system if you run it stock and suppressed (cracked a bolt sheath that way).

Only time I really experienced it was doing full auto on a 10.5” which is going to be gassy. I usually get gassed pretty easy by the AUG and it was not noticeable.
There is no reason for this to require a tax stamp. Repeal the NFA.
If silencers weren't regulated it would cost $100 for a suppressor and the world would be a quieter place

Yep. Primary camera had a critical failure after filming. Used B camera for entire review to save time.
