Mike, I love your products. I’ve done a couple of unique projects, one of which is a 2” thick slab covered on all six sides to look like an actual slab. Question. I love to add gold spray paint when doing Carrara marble. It looks like iron pyrite which I have in my real Carrara. But it floats on the surface and sanding it for a flood coat sands it right off. Any suggestions on how to keep the hold highlights.
I have loved watching you guys for a few years. Sadly the questions asked I could not hear so some of the answers just weren't clear as to what they were addressing. If it were possible to add a .pdf download or add to the desc what the questions/answers were, it would help in understanding more of what was being shared. @@StoneCoatCountertops AWESOME! Enjoy watching you guys making beautiful counter tops. Gonna give it a shot this summer with a friend of mine. He wants to build a bar for outdoors under his new pavilion.
Do you give your platinum A & B a warm water bath to heat it up before mixing? I've tried it with your quick coat set up and makes a huge difference with how it lays down, less bubbles.
I am a renter and I have a really old shower and it's one of those prefab showers. It has a seam down the middle. What would you suggest for a filler and how would I go about putting epoxy on a prefab shower? p.s. I trying to up grade my living situation since my landlord won't. Bathroom is old out dated and hasn't been touched in 30+ yrs. I need to do something! Since I dont own it I cant sink thousands but a couple hundred is cool. Also I'll feel better about my surroundings. Please any suggestions I'll have much gratitude!!
I think it looks good but it looked better before all the extra finish touches (starting with the spritzing of iso alcohol). Just my humble opinion (which comes from 25+ years of color, design, custom finishing, fine carpentry and woodworking). Sometimes it's best to just step away....cheers, fellas. You guys do some very cool stuff.
i've been taking myself to school on your counter top brilliance. I'm going to make and finish my own cabinets and counters for the cabin i built in northern michigan. great job!
I can tell you about my experience recently with the Platinum. I was outdoors and just poured my color coat... there was a area of the top that was in the sunlight and those areas blistered up terribly. Now I sanded that first coat with 120g and even opened up some of the bubbles. I then poured my second clear coat and they all filled in fine. My problem however is it literally set off in a few minutes...I had no working time at all. Luckily I just did a bucket pour but still that was ridiculous. Obviously you have to trade off the working time with the non yellowing...and I'm assuming that you have no other choices in giving it more working time with whatever this product actually is. My feelings are its more of a poliaspartic or similar. I was pretty disappointed in how very little working time I had. It basically left the bucket and once it hit the surface it was done. You are getting a lot more time than I did for sure... which leads me to think the humidity plays a huge part in it. So what exactly are we dealing with I wonder in this "hybrid surprise"?

Elegant is the perfect word. This piece is beautiful. The busy pieces look good but they are so complex to layout. This was the pattern I was looking for (at about 25:04).
You’ve made me a believer! I’m wanting a white with silver/pewter tone kitchen countertop. I’m excited to practice on the small piece for little desktop that will be in there and then tackle a bigger piece for a countertop that is opposite a beautiful antique butcher block (100 year old wood!) Thank you so much for the inspiration, and for teaching in such a relaxed and enjoyable manner! Love keepin’ it artsy! Barbara Pio

loving this watching from Australia
Hi Mike , no your not talking to yourself, love your explanations and passion:) I’m from Hawaii and you nailed the lava and remember that you put your heart Into it and you showed your work, the ones making fun didn’t even have the guts to try so they need to deflect from them and throw shade on others . Sad for them, your living life so that makes you perfectly imperfect - “ 🙏🏼🥰 you and your wife are amazing , keep it up 👏🏼aloha to you all at Stonecoat 🤙🏽
Elegant is the perfect word. This piece is beautiful. The busy pieces look good but they are so complex to layout. This was the pattern I was looking for (at about 25:04).
I love you work and creativity, I enjoy a lot see you working and see the fantastic results, you’re the best.
I love this! And the fact you basically used your hand to spread it!
You’ve made me a believer! I’m wanting a white with silver/pewter tone kitchen countertop. I’m excited to practice on the small piece for little desktop that will be in there and then tackle a bigger piece for a countertop that is opposite a beautiful antique butcher block (100 year old wood!)
Thank you so much for the inspiration, and for teaching in such a relaxed and enjoyable manner!
Love keepin’ it artsy!

Working the construction trade in housing and the industrial sector as well I just seem not to be able to run out of ideas as to the applications using this system, not only that but you had to add carbon fiber to make the possibilities endless.Thank you for putting these videos on youtube.

@@StoneCoatCountertops
I would most definitely use the same colors. I believe this video convinced me what I want for my bathroom.
This is also the exact colors/style my daughter is wanting for her kitchen.
She’s been saving for now for awhile. I’m going to try and convince her that we can do this 🤗

When you’ll have in stock the missing product such as the platinum epoxy, or the glossy protective top coat? And there’s a lot other things out of the stock. I just ordered some from you, they are on the way. Can’t wait to do my project 🙃
