I just hope this game dont get the bandai namco special, and for those who are asking what i mean by that just check on xenoverse 2 and the breakers, they truly fumbled hard on those two games (specially the breakers)
In the early 2000s I used to spam a Death Note game made by fans called Death Note: Online on a site called Byond (along with other werewolf games such as Misuterri and Mitadake High), and it was extremely similar to this, except it had additional roles like Shinigami and even Mello's. Basically, I'm not surprised at all and if anything, they should've done this officially sooner. Haha can't wait to try this. I've even spotted other DNO fans due to this game, which has been awesome.

I believe investigators will play a more passive role, where they need to keep an eye on everyone, in case L misses anything. Since I assume they also do not know who L is.

Can Kira kill one of their own followers? It would be a pretty cool idea to have a follower steal an ID card for you for later and then you kill your follower that round to throw off the suspicion of Kira having their name.
We didn't try that! You might be a formidable Kira🗿 Edit : It's possible as long as you have their ID. All you have to do is somehow convince your follower to sacrifice themselves...
As established in the video, the game will probably feel better with a larger lobby. And just like with pretty much every other online game, the players will need some time to figure out how everything works. That all being said, though, I'm fairly optimistic about this. An Among Us style game makes perfect sense for a Death Note game. The OST is a whole vibe, and setting the game up as Light and L playing against each other is a cool touch. Definitely going to give it a shot.

The voting doesn't work like other games where they die. The voted / arrested player does not die. They drop their ID and their name, which means Kira can eventually use the Death Note to kill that person. If that person happened to be L, Team Kira wins.

you should be able to get the shikigami eyes but after a couple minutes u have to give the deathnote to someone or something like that
