No... there are many more influential bands. Go back to Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Elvis Presley, many more. They have influenced countless bands and genres.
We saw them about a week later in Utah. I saw them when I was 16, 26, and 37. It's kind of a wild thing that have a band be a part of the bookmarks in your life.
SETLIST 🕊️ 00:28 - For the Workforce, Drowning 04:11 - The Other Side of the Crash/Over and Out (of Control) 09:25 - Cross Out the Eyes 13:29 - Signals Over the Air 19:00 - Jet Black New Year 23:38 - This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb 26:55 - Fast to the End 31:39 - A Hole in the World 35:45 - Running from the Rain 41:00 - Standing on the Edge of Summer 45:45 - If It’s Here When We Get Back It’s Ours 49:00 - Autobiography of a Nation 53:55 - Understanding in a Car Crash 59:40 - Autumn Leaves Revisited 1:07:08 - Division St. 1:12:30 - War All the Time
I know I'm a latecomer to both bands but when Geoff explained "ripping off" that part of Texas is the Reason it felt like so many pieces came together. That breakdown is basically the core of every Thursday song.
HOLY FUCK I WAS HERE !!!!! It was a 21+ venue and I was only 16 but my aunt and uncle lied and said they were my parents and got me in anyway. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Seeing them in Seattle this year!

Thursday changed my life as well as saved my life during some very bad times. I’m so thankful they exist. My life would have never been the same without them. Thanks guys.
They played it way back in 2006. Billy Talent, Circa Survive, Rise Against tour in the fall. Probably my favorite song off City. Or tied with.Lovesong.
@@chris_822that was a doozy of a year. Saw that same tour in Worcester in November ‘06 and then saw Thursday again in December ‘06 in Hartford w/ Murder By Death and Fear Before The March of Flames who was touring their incredible album The Always Open Mouth.
My favourite band by a mile. Even better live. I hope you guys come back to Australia, Have helped me and many through so many hard time. Absolutely legends ❤
I went to an old club in Omaha to see Sparta on that tour forever ago….didn’t know Thursday. The double snare hit on Car Crash opened their set I’ve been hooked since.
Wiretap scars is one of my all time favorite albums. That one specifically by them was amazing . Grew up with Thursday too . Would have loved to have seen that. Jealous
Love em'. Love the channel. Seen Sparta opening for them when I was in high school in StL. I believe it was Sparta's 1st tour. It was such a small place. Place was called the Galaxy. Love the bands. Love the channel. Best hopes and wishes to everyone. ❤
I swear, Thursday has the most "fill-in" bass players ever.I saw them 4 times and the bass player for "Saves the Day" filled in twice. What's up with their bass player?Alcohol.
I have very fond memories of Thursday but the energy in that room is pretty dead. Granted everyone there is probably in their mid 30s and I believe prior to this show there were postponements due to covid but I thought they would have gotten a better reaction from that crowd. I guess the barricade doesn't help either. Regardless the video and sound came out nicely
Great set, but like a lot of live shows... they play their best tracks just a *little* too fast... it robs those classic songs of a lot of their impact, but it's better than nothing so I won't b!tch too much.
Most influential band.
Most influential band to zesty emo kids who hate their Dad
The dudes like old enough to be a grandpa and he still sounds like a winey teenager
True

@cwrichardson3 this is the most 65 year old thing I've ever read, man. Truly.
Still a very impressive band after all these years. Thursday forever, baby!
We saw them about a week later in Utah.
I saw them when I was 16, 26, and 37. It's kind of a wild thing that have a band be a part of the bookmarks in your life.
Reading this made me realize that's also true for me. Having Thursday to listen to has had such a huge impact on my life.
that’s cool as hell

The grin on Norman's face when he begins the riff to If It's Here When We Get Back It's Ours. Definitely some nostalgia there.

Thank you. This era was so under appreciated. 🙏
I was there, such a great show. Thanks for letting me relive it. The end of "Standing on the Edge of Summer" never fails to make me go apeshit.
Thursday changed my life as well as saved my life during some very bad times. I’m so thankful they exist. My life would have never been the same without them. Thanks guys.
What I would give for a new Thursday record.
I still can't believe they busted out Autumn Leaves Revisited for this tour. One of their best songs and one I thought I'd never hear live.
Same dude!
They played it way back in 2006. Billy Talent, Circa Survive, Rise Against tour in the fall. Probably my favorite song off City. Or tied with.Lovesong.
such an underrated song and Geoff really killed it here. didn’t think he’d hit the high note but did
@@chris_822that was a doozy of a year. Saw that same tour in Worcester in November ‘06 and then saw Thursday again in December ‘06 in Hartford w/ Murder By Death and Fear Before The March of Flames who was touring their incredible album The Always Open Mouth.

One of my first concerts was Thursday and Sparta back in like 2001
I went to an old club in Omaha to see Sparta on that tour forever ago….didn’t know Thursday. The double snare hit on Car Crash opened their set I’ve been hooked since.

Wiretap scars is one of my all time favorite albums. That one specifically by them was amazing . Grew up with Thursday too . Would have loved to have seen that. Jealous

good quality filming! amazing!
30th Chicago concord music hall this month!!!!!! Let’s gooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geoff seems to have regained the 'glassy' timbre of old days to some extent:) When I saw them in 2019 he had less clarity in his voice
Steve Pedulla is a rock legend!!!
Great set. Their version of If It's Here When We Get Back It's Ours is amazing.
Yes! This is a nice surprise.
Thursday Forever!
When did Geoff's screams start sounding like darkthrone?
Since Andrew left 😔
Big Stu on bass!!
Love em'. Love the channel. Seen Sparta opening for them when I was in high school in StL. I believe it was Sparta's 1st tour. It was such a small place. Place was called the Galaxy. Love the bands. Love the channel. Best hopes and wishes to everyone. ❤
I was at that show too! It doesn't feel like they've lost any energy all these years later.
@@jacobm742 Right on,man. I totally agree. Glad somebody that was there seen this and replied. Very cool. Take care of yourself. Thank you. ✌

I swear, Thursday has the most "fill-in" bass players ever.I saw them 4 times and the bass player for "Saves the Day" filled in twice. What's up with their bass player?Alcohol.

I wish the crowd had some coffee before the show…
January, 24, 2022 was a Monday.

Geoff is mic’ed weird
Reminds me of my generation.
