Saw Geoff as an acoustic solo open for Sparta in a small Dallas bar last August, best show I've ever been to, was literally standing next to them. He was fucking nice, spent a lot of time chatting with people buying his merch.
I was there, what a brilliant show! They are in much better shape musically than when I last saw them a couple decades ago :O Full Collapse is one of my all-time favorite albums.
As an "elder emo" I didn't really get into Thursday in the 2000's. I liked a handful of songs. Now that I'm older I've been revisiting their catalogue and they are damn good at writing songs. This live performance is so good.
