They’re more metalcore and melodic hardcore? Aren’t they. I thought they were?? Not really hardcore-hardcore. Hardcore is solid and defined genre not an umbrella/ broad term like how people call extreme metaled-genred bands-> “metal”. We all know metal is a solid defined genre as well.
@@Dieafreak Yeah, they have a lot of metal elements. But their first two albums (with the previous singer) were straight up hardcore. Melodic, yes. But hardcore.
@@hobojungle1 of course that is when vocalist changes happened so the band does change in style to more on the metal side from the first 2 thats why i think heavy steps is closer to that faster style of the first 2 i think thats what ur thinking is style changed and u got used to the broadcasting and up til heavy steps ?

Man, I went tho their concert in São Paulo 14 years ago and it was so fucking insane. Stage dives, everyone singing along, Andrew was shocked how brutal was. Love this band
Idk… honestly i wonder how they could maintain such energy at 100 percent for all shows including the ones i attended in Asia in March. So amazing. Super fast, melodic as always. Hats off to them. One of the best hardcore punk bands.
I think with how fast they play live plus how long their sets are becoming as a headline band, it's less stressful on his vocal cords when doing it night after night. I used to find the same thing.
Fuck yeah comeback kid with Drain in a small club in Melbourne in jan is one of my favourite concerts this year they absolutely killed it crowd was absolutely insane jumping off everything walls, stairs , somebody got suplexed off a speaker Into the pit couldn't believe my eyes 😂😂 keep that energy up lads 🔥🔥🔥✊️
I would pay good money just for one set of come back kid!!!! I’ve been to countless shows like probably over 200. Not a lot of bands I want to see and haven’t. So much love for these boys. OGs!!! Come to California!!
Mannnnn i fucking left early that night and missed this cause I had work early as fuck. I should've just pulled the fuck through. Comeback kid is up there in my top favorite hardcore bands ever
Setlist is a dream. Been a fan since Wake the Dead, happy they still play songs off Turn it around. Also, i see you security dude shouting Wake up the dead 🤘
the first time i heard of comeback kid was Wake The Dead and used on the gameplay of Dead Rising, ever since then ive been listening to them, they are rad.
Love seeing a band that can fill up the front of the stage at a show. Don't get me wrong, love the mosh, but not enough bands are pulling people forward. (To be fair, where I live has no hc shows, so who I am to even comment, lol)
I’ve seen them play with bane (got back together)? and terror back in early 2,000s. They need to do a bane, terror, CBK tour. It would go nuts. Maybe slap an unknown on or two.
Change of musical direction i guess. Same for maybe bands like Turnover. They all sound great with the new sounds. cant imagine CBK changing their sounds though hahahha thatd be funny
@@ryanrivera2430 that doesn't really explain it. Every band I hear on this channel sounds a lot different to the last. So what makes it hardcore and not just metal...?
@liamjenkins82 two-steps, breakdowns, riffs that make you want to move, that feeling when you have so much energy inside you feel like you will explode, community, there are things that hurt and sting inside you and this music helps you. You can feel what the vocals are saying because maybe you've felt that way before. Hardcore is hardcore.
2023 and Wake the Dead still hits like a truck

I don't know why Comeback Kid always got the shaft as not a top great band of this genre EVER.
Not an american band. If they were from Boston or NY, they would be huge.
It's a shame.

love how like half the songs are from wake the dead/ turn it around, bands that read the room for TIHC make the best sets
Do u blame them the best front albums and yes the new album heavy steps was pretty close to this vain of those 2 album

Sorta off topic… but, why did a band like Hundredth give up hxc for soft synthy shoegaze stuff? This set is pure fire Nrg, anyways.
