私がこの2機種を使う際の普段使いのクランチサウンドを紹介。GT1000C、FM3ともに同じ狙い（強く弾くとしっかり歪み、弱く弾くとほぼクリーン）で作っているので特にどちらが良いとか悪いとかは感じていない。同じ弾き方をすれば同じ効果が出力されるよう作っている。
ともにマーシャルアンプモデリングを選択。ステレオディレイとリバーブで化粧してダイレクトアウト。GT1000Cは2022年に「MASTERING FX」が追加されたのだけど、これが強力且つ便利で最後段でオンされている。FM3でも最後段に「Multiband Compressor」をオンし、軽く音圧を整えてから出力させている。
後半ではフロントPU（コイルタップ）使用時での単音リフの音の細さを補う為ブースターをオンさせる様子を撮影。
GT1000CではDS1Xの「DIST-0」状態をオンしている。これは実機でもよくやるのだが、Xアルゴ(MDP)の様々なトリートメントが一気にかかり、すごく便利な使い方だと感じている。FM3ではOCDモデルをオン。実機使用時でも困ったらOCDのDrive控えめ状態をオンしてやればとりあえず迫力が出るという経験則が、シミュレータ上でも私にそうさせている。
i just bought the boss because i wanted a straight one piece unit and im glad I did.I was thinking about fm3 because of the great already made presets ive heard but the differnce in price and with just a little bit of tweaking i get enough from boss. I only want 2 sound clean and od so no need for all the amps but if i had extra cash I still would buy fm3 or 9.

Fm3 is more compressed, less dynamic and less overtones/harmonics.

Thank you! This sound is coming directly from the line out to the stereo in of the digital camera. So I didn't use an amplifier.

ご覧頂きありがとうございます。BOSSの方は"Type BritSTK ,Gain-50,Sag-0,RESO-0,LEVEL-65,Bass-61,M-50,T-55,P-3,GainSW-middle"です。FM3の方は動画内に見えている通りとなっております。デジカメのステレオインへ直接ライン入力され、そのまま無加工でアップしております。
What about the feeling of playing on Boss vs Fractal? Which one responds better to articulation?
With this amount of drive, I don't notice much difference. I think both are good.
