Wow 40 minute car ride to the vets office! We are so lucky to have a vet that comes to the house. She is only 3 miles down the road. Feel better Iris! 🐈
Poor kitty. My dog did that and we found out that changing his diet helped him a lot. He had scratched and lost all the hair off his hips and back legs. Good video. I enjoy your sense of humor.
Hi Kris I know what you mean about the dinner rut. Now with the warmer weather I just try to think of different things I can grill.🙂Poor little Iris. I felt so bad to see her upset I know those car rides must have been torture. Hope the treatment is successful. ❤
The dinner rut is the worst, right? I had some success with Hello Fresh for a while, but sometimes I wouldn't cook the meals and the food would spoil. (LAZY!) Iris had a good initial recovery, but now she's scratching again. Maybe she's allergic to my dislike of cooking dinner?
Poor baby, Iris is such a pretty cat. She reminds me of one I had when I was younger. I hope that trip to the vet solves her problem with her ears. Good control, I would have loved to have that Chelsea set and some of that Lenox.
Hi Kris. Another great episode. You found se really nice items. I am so glad Iris doesn't have an infection. I hope her ears are healed very soon. I am sure that I am like many of your viewers in thinking " me too" when you are explaining certain things. You are so fun to watch!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Iris has started scratching again, so we're going to try eliminating some ingredients from her diet. I'm told that chicken is a frequent allergy culprit. I guess we'll find out!
I have a rescued white cat. Picked her up at 6 months in Hartford. She was not doing well. Now she is 14. At some point she got some skin cancer on her ears & they were cropped. I learned white cats are susceptible to this even if they don’t go out in the sun but are inside sitting on window ledges! Several years later I noticed a mark on her nose that didn’t go away. Cancer. So she had a planumectomy. The front part of her nose removed. Other than that she’s doing great. 😵💫. Good luck with The Ears of Iris!
Poor kitty! Thank you for telling me that white cats are susceptible to skin cancer so I know to keep my eye out! I'm really glad you're cat is doing well now!
Hey Kris! I understand your pain. My friend owns a little shop and a lady asked him if he would buy her collection of “Denim Days” figurines. Wanting to make this sweet lady happy and knowing that these cheap statues do not sell he told her he could give her $2 each for them. Welp, she had over 600 of them! My friend was definitely taken advantage of by this “sweet” lady. He was NOT a happy camper.
Yes - first thing they checked for. The second was fleas. The third was an ear infection. She was good on all fronts. Unfortunately, after a few days of healing she started scratching again, so now we need to rule out food allergies. Poor kitty!
Me again. Does she have a reddish gunk in her ears? Use a q tip and look. Seems funny to me that she suddenly developed an allergy. Daughter of a vet and cat owner
I really appreciate you thinking this through - thank you for taking the time and trouble! Nope, her ears are totally clear. And today I realized that her brother sometimes itches a bit around his face - not nearly as rough as what she does to her ears. I think they both have food allergies. I have a feeling we're going to be spending A LOT of money on very fancy single ingredient cat food in the near future! I'll be doing videos from Debtor's Prison. 😂😂

Hope Iris feels better soon.

Thank you so much! I'm glad your dog found relief. Fingers crossed that Iris does as well!
Oh, poor Iris. My kitty cries like that too. Luckily my vet is only one mile from my house.
Iris appreciates the sympathy (and so do I!) ❤❤

@@WorthingtonHome As if the dinner rut wasn’t bad enough now you have to worry about what to feed the cats 😫Good thing they’re cute 🥰 🥰

It was BRUTAL leaving the Lenox behind. It was so pretty! The Chelsea set was really good too. Thanks for your well-wishes for Iris!

Entertaining as always. You are so tender and a very good mom to all your creatures. Look forward to the next episode!
Awwww, that's honestly the nicest thing you could say to me! Thank you!
The book is beautiful
Thank you! I was glad to find such a nice edition in really good condition.

Oh my goodness! That's A LOT of Denim Days! 😂😂 Like I said, no good deed goes unpunished!
Could be ear mites or yeast also, hope Iris is feeling better ❤
Thank you so much! She started to get better, then a little bit worse, but now better again. It's a bit of a roller coaster!
Iris is so pretty. She may be allergic to some ingredient in her food. Hope she recovers quickly!
Thank you. She has started scratching again, so I definitely suspect a food allergy. I'm calling the vet tomorrow.
Kris did anyone get the print from the Brimwell video?
Yes, it was much requested. I'm going to keep my eye out for other fun things to offer viewers in the future, so stay tuned!
Did they check for ear mites?
