Not only that, but references to other things, as characters or weapons as well, as the blue crow attack resembles maria's basic attack or the ghost soul, that attacks similar to alucard's spirits spell

Funny enough, Souma shares a VA (Hikaru Midorikawa, who people have heard as Marth at least once via Smash Bros) with a version of Dio from an old PS2 game. The current Japanese VA for Richter, Kiyoyuki Yanada (since SoTN) also voiced the Capcom-game version of Joutarou himself even.
Also, I believe there is a small easter egg with Balore (27:55): Against enemies with high enough HP to survive one hit from Balore, Soma will say something else on the finishing punch. Normally he said something like "Kono ichigi ke" or something (my Japanese sucks XD), but on that finishing blow he'll say "Todome da".
I find Ripper or Biphron / werewolf my favorites due to multi hits as well as in Biphron's case hitting more than one enemy with a small cost. Plus the travels arent too bad, makes using souls like Alura Une or Final Guard more managable

you forgot the important role of Chronomage and killer mantle Chronomage is Required to get Skyfish soul while killer mantle is needed for Iron golem's soul

the zombie officer soul gives you an "air recover" meaning when soma gets sent flying back after a hit (most commonly happens when you take a hit midair) you can tap the jump button to instantly recover control, it can be useful for some of the trickier platforming sections
I'm pretty sure they have different hitboxes (can't confirm) but they have different elements, which allows for stronger or weaker damage, depending on the ending.

I love using the Ascalon sword (Which is basically the Dragon Slayer from Berserk), and equipping the Biphoron soul or the Fish Head soul. Really feels like you're playing as Guts.

Getting all the souls in this game is worth it, at least in the Advance Collection because it nets you a trophy. Not worth doing in Dawn of Sorrow though, as there’s no trophy for it in the Dominus Collection.
It was the last trophy I had to get before the platinum trophy. I recommend grabbing the Soul Eater Ring before doing. The one soul that drove me mad trying to get was Mandragora. I remember hacking on it one night to no avail. I must be doing something wrong. I was right about that because in order to get the soul, you have to kill it when it’s on screen.
I completely I had done so far my rate 99 level of Soma Cruz and beat someday in play some are all of those map 100 percents and there has monster over 120 to switch more summoned but there is no yet additional this is a weapon to drop off rare it's a low limitless
The sad thing is that the overwhelming majority of Bullet Souls either quickly become outclassed (or how Zombie already outclasses Poison Worm) or just don't deal good damage for their MP cost, especially once you get the Claimh Solais. Valkyrie, Lightning Doll, Nightmare, Killer Mantle (on certain enemies) and MAYBE Mandragora are the only worthwhile Bullet Souls until you get the Chaos Ring, and once you get that item, all that's left to spam Red Minotaur on is the true final boss. Dawn of Sorrow did a much better job balancing them, although in that game Mandragora was insanely good. The Guardian Souls, however, seem to make up for this. Creaking Skull, Giant Ghost, Final Guard, the "breath" souls...all look to be extremely useful. Giant Ghost is plainly superior to Witch, of course. Medusa Head is also really good for Balore's second phase. I didn't know about a lot of the smaller details, like Siren dealing extra damage to foes weak to Curse, or the effect of pairing Imp with Waiter Skeleton.
You normally need to wait for the full animation of you melee attacks before doing a bullet soul attack,but with it it just cancels the animation so you can do it faster

Kinda interesting that Axe Armor soul was more like a copy of enemy move in Aria,

My favorite souls have always been Valkyrie and Manticore. Add in Succubus and Chaos Ring and I'll be good for life.
Valkyrie has a strong holy damage, commonly enemies here are dark attributes. Even Demon Lord and Shadow Knight with holy weakness can kill it.
With the chaos ring i like: Red minotaur, black panther, and lubicant. I think those are the most broken ones

Wooden golem can combine ability from ring called rune ring, to make sure restore mp more faster

If you cast devil when close to the ennemy, while you have no momentum, you can hit it multiple times
