@@JayR0dimus06 In my personal movie nerd opinion, it lacks the action spectacle of the Bay films. CGI feels way off, not bc of the G1 redesigns, but it doesn’t have a perfect blend of digital and practical VFX like the original live action films did. I kinda expected more from a film with a $200 million budget, but that’s just the nerd in me talking lmao
@@JayR0dimus06because it’s bad that’s why. So many plot holes and a bad story. If you are trying to go for a g1 transformer live action is never gonna work you might as well stick to animation. Nothing in this movie feels believable I mean that’s the whole purpose of a live action; to be imersed in this world. The g1 esthetic is way too cartoonish for live action the fight scenes gun shots etc everything about it feels too cartoonish doesn’t feel believable. Like the final battle, where is it taking place it doesn’t even look like real location;doesn’t even look like South America. In the battle of Chicago you can see the actual city in ruins you can feel the battle happening it’s believable. The bayverse is perfect for a live action transformers. The esthetics is dark and gritty like the really world. If transformers existed in real life they would look exactly like bayverse transformers. They are going to geometrically perfect robots.
This movie was brilliant
I love the fact that every transformers characters transform very consistent on every of their transform. And not just a mess blob like Bayverse version. I still like Bayverse transformation sounds tho. But atleast you can tell they have to transform in a specific way to being alt mode or robot mode. While Bayverse transformation is cool but a lot of them are inconsistent
I kind of like the first live action movie because it’s the first live action movie and the second and third One aren’t great, but they’re not terrible, just badly paced and Age of Extinction is a little tolerable, but the Last Knight God awful. This is mainly due to the fact that Michael Bay is an idiot and had no love or care for the source material and with Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, you could tell there’s alot of love in there. I can’t wait for Transformers One.
Bayverse only got blob like transformations after the third movie imo the transformations in the witwicky ones were💯

The best movie of transformers
Rise Of The Beasts gets way too much hate, it's sure not a perfect film no movie is, but it's a serviceable Transformers movie. People act like it's one of the worst things to have happened to the franchise. Age of Extinction, The Last Knight, and Kiss players exist for a reason.

Shouldn't Terrecons' eye colors be purple, but their eyes are red? Normally, Decepticons' eye colors are red, and Unicro's eye color is yellow, and it should also be purple, because it works with black energy (Terrecons also work with black energy).

And i still love it so much.
There is of course questinable plot and story points.
But overall, the impression of action, cgi, characters, soundtrack, is mostly positive.
And this movie means much more to me, because this movie helped me realize how wrong, toxic, and disrespectful Bayverse fanbase can be.

There’s too much back and forth dialogue during a fight that means nothing. The amount of times that scourge has to kill one of them but starts rambling on about unicron is mind numbing.
Plus “Brooklyn baby!” Is said at least three times in this film and it gets old quick. This movie overall felt like a massive nothing burger with a lacklustre/messy plot line and poorly edited scenes. I was hoping for this film to be a proper continuation of Bumblebee. I was hoping that we would get a new rebooted story spanning multiple movies but that’s not what we got.
Instead we get a poorly directed mess of a film with unlikable characters, lame villains and some dumb beast wars nonsense. And get this.. no Decepticon’s. Really?
But hey it’s all ok because next we’re getting a gi Joe crossover, because that’s exactly what the fans asked for. I can’t wait when the third film introduces my little ponies into the mix that’ll be fun.

It had its flaws but to this day was and still is the Transformers film that I enjoyed from start to finish. I just find it sad that there will never be a future film to surpass or even match how well made that 07 film was.
