Does Yakima make any kind of insert to fill the space in the mounting pads when the racks are removed? Would give a cleaner look and also make a nice little pad for setting stuff. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Does anyone know the max extendable height of the towers? I’m hoping to carry my 16 ft prospector canoe and am curious if there is enough height OR if I’ll need a cross bar on top of my cab? Anyone??

The instructions that came with mine said to put the front locking base on the driver's side and the rear locking base on the passenger side. Does it matter?

How does this rack Yakima OverHaul HD - Yakima Trunk & Bed Rack work with the sliding rail system in the bed of the new Tacoma?

Hey Davis,
We haven't evaluated the 2021 Tacomas yet. On 2016-2020 Tacomas you would need the Bed Track Kit 1 (SKU: 8001168) to use the OverHaul. Once we have an approved fit it will show up on our fit guide on yakimatech.com.

I have this system with aRetrax Tonneau cover and a Tepui RTT...I plan to install the RhinoRack Batwing on the HD rails. Video helped to find the 4mm nut to remove the end cap. It looks like the attachment bracket will slide into the channel except I don’t believe the end cap can be replaced... if it was returned the bracket has a 1/4 -1/2 inch clearance between bracket and rail. Any thoughts?

@@YakimaRacksOfficial Actually, I've installed them on the Gen 1 Ridgeline and with a small modification to the clamp, it works great. I'm not sure why Yakima couldn't figure it out.

Do you need to measure torque on these? Not shown in the video but in the install instructions it says to tor to specific torques. Is that necessary or just make sure they are tight?

At 2:28 they literally say to put the locking base on the driver's side, then they do the exact opposite. What a stupid video.
